I absolutely love these paints, they layer beautifully, I love the soft matte finish, and the colors!

Thanks Kate. We have just released 12 new colours this week. There are 132 colours at the moment.

That is so awesome! I wish I could find them more easily here in the US. Do you know who else stocks them besides Simon Says Stamp? The popular colors sell out fast, they sell a limited number of colors and their shipping takes longer than international shipping. I wish I could help you build up your distribution network here. If I could shop for them, I would definitely own a lot more!

Hi, I stumbled upon one of your tutorials earlier this week and now having viewed several of them I'm sure these paints could work great in several areas of my craft work. Can you tell me which colours/glazes you would recommend to get me started and then I can add to them once I've got used to the new techniques! Many thanks.

Yep, must have them all. Question : please answer, I was told somewhere along my learning journey that one is never to mix water with acrylic paints. Only to thin with acrylic mediums. That water would break down it's composition. Could someone from Paper Artsy explain it's stand. I remember who said it. But I'd rather not disclose her site. I don't bash.

Hi Lynda, as acrylic paints are water based, it is common to mix water with them to thin them while you are using them, you get great watercolor effects this way too.
However, I would not water down paint direct into the bottle to store it on your shelf, as you could introduce bacteria, paint is potentially a great mould-development zone, warm and wet! If you need to thin a paint that you are trying to extend the life of when it gets to the dregs, then yes, add fluid gel medium, or our satin or matte glazes would be fine AND compatible. I have mixed brand A into brand B and made snot before! Quite funny!
