Good reaction again. This was at the Saitama Super Arena with a sold out crowd of over 20,000 all singing along. The version you watched before was also in Japan, not the UK, at the Rising Sun Rock Festival - of course being a festival they couldn't have all the effects, flames, fireworks and the big custom made stage with the walkways and bridges and so on that they could do in their own shows like this one.
You haven't seen any of Su-metal's solo songs yet or the Black BABYMETAL (Yui and Moa without Su) songs.
Try 'Rondo of Nightmare' live at Budokan, Black Night for a Su-metal solo (it should be 7 minutes long and you'll get an instrumental intro from the Kami Band too).
Maybe 'Onedari Daisakusen' live at Budokan, Black Night for your first Black BABYMETAL song.

Well, The One (Babymetal fanbase) has given you quite a bit of details on the band already.... I love people reacting to Road of Resistance, for the simple reason is in the beginning, when Su calls for a wall of death there's always that bit of "Is that little girl really calling for a wall of death" from reactors. And to see the "oh shit" moment, and seeing the crowd crash into each other and realizing that a 5ft Japanese girl called for a wall of death is priceless. Have fun in your Babymetal exploration. Best Babymetal is Live Babymetal. 🤘🦊🤘

Strictly speaking it's an arena, because this was 20 000+ person sold out show. It was roughly 1.5 years later they performed at Tokyo Dome 2 days sold out show of 55 000+. 🙂

And the did all that dancing with ALL that energy after already performing for 80 minutes prior. Not to mention the Kami Band tearing it up that entire time. Hideki earned his paycheck just with that song alone.
BABYMETAL is truly something special. 🤘🦊🤘

Great reaction. Yes this is an amazing performance that shows how 3 young girls (ages 17 - Suzuka and 15 - Moa and Yui) can not only draw a crowd but control it as well. Still hard for me to wrap my head around that.

    Great reaction, thanks!
They definitely know how to properly close a show. This was the last encore of a 90+ minutes concert, fully performed with this level of energy. And it's amazing.
We usually define it as "epic". But it deserves it: the stage production, lights, pyro, the band (I love Ohmura's incredible picking on the guitar), the crowd interaction...
Su-metal still remembers this moment as one of her favorites on stage and she even made this song her personal anthem.
I second the suggestion for "Rondo of Nightmare" (Su's solo) and "Onedari Daisakusen" (Black BABYMETAL). Here:

Nice & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。The crowd involvement (mosh pit, call & response, chant etc.) breaks out wherever they go on this planet. American audience also did a good job in any of 20 shows during 2019 US Tour. With keywords "babymetal 2019 new york", you can find videos showing 3,000 New Yorkers are doing the same thing at Terminal 5 on Sep.15, 2019.
In your video, Su shouted some words at 07:40 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She shouted it rarely since then. Last year (2021), on the final day (April 15) of 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN concerts, Su shouted the same words in the end-all of the show. She did it smilingly with mild and friendly voice. It meant, I believe, "come on guys!" The audience smiled her back. I was there at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿

This is the song that sold me on BM. I was initially interested by Megitsune way back in 2014 and then saw ROR at Saitama in 2015 and became a fan because I ended the song an emotional wreck. They take you from one pinnacle to another and just keep on going. They specialize in sensory overload with the singing, dancing, instruments, staging, pyro and the crowd. But for me the real hero is the drummer, Hideki Aoyama, I think this song averages over 200 BPM...OMFoxG.
The song has a strong Dragonforce vibe because Li and Totman worked on it and play it on the album, but I like this live Kami Band version better. The concert has a great stage set up and the famous Yui leap over Moa during IDZ as well as this definitive performance. "Road of Resistance" is about fighting and resisting even if you can't see the way ahead; that's a common theme for Babymetal songs.
At the end of the crowd "wows" I love the combination of the insanely fast guitar riff and the dance sequence that ends with the girls standing strongly and outlined by the lights, that's where I really get the chills. It shows how well the Babymetal team works to bring together music, singing, dancing and stage and lighting design. They use theatrical elements really well and the whole team are incredibly talented.

"Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) -
BABYMETAL believe that if a song sounds too much like one genre, then it's not a BABYMETAL song.
You can definitely feel the speed metal component in this one though.
This performance was at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) in January 2015, with a sold out crowd of over 20,000.
Guitarists that night were Takayoshi Ohmura and Leda Cygnus. The bassist was BOH, and the drummer was Hideki Aoyama.
BABYMETAL's lead singer, Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto, or Su) first appeared at SSA in 2008 as a member of the J-Pop trio Karen Girl's, when she was 10 years old.
She's been back many times since with BABYMETAL.

Nice reaction. The bigger shows they've done in Japan are some of the best shows you'll ever see. America got a real treat when they did a show at the forum in LA. They brought the big show set up from Japan. Wish I could have been there. They have done 2 shows in NYC at much smaller venues. If they ever get to come back, I hope it's to Madison Square Garden at least. Citifield would be even better. I'll take where the Giants and Jets play too. Sadly, both times they played in NYC I was stuck at work and couldn't go. One time was just 3 blocks from where I worked at the time. Ugg, I got to see the fan cams though. Enjoy your journey through the Babymetal galaxy of music. See You

    Road of Resistance
    Saitama Super Arena (SSA):-
"Road of Resistance" is a song by the Japanese Kawaii metal band Babymetal. The song was released worldwide as a digital single on February 1, 2015 by Toy's Factory, serving as the lead single off the international re-release of the album Babymetal, as well the opening track from Metal Resistance.
    "Road of Resistance":-
    •Single by Babymetal.
    •Album: Metal Resistance.
    •Language: Japanese, English.
    •Released: February 1, 2015.
    •Genre: Kawaii metal, power metal.
    •Length: 5:19.
•Label: BMD Fox, Toy's Factory, Sony Music Entertainment.
    •Composer: Mish-Mosh, Norimetal, Kyt-metal.
•Lyricist: Kitsune of Metal God, Mk-metal, Kxbxmetal.
    •Producer: Kobametal.
    •Kyoto: (arrangement).
    Babymetal singles chronology:-
    •"Megitsune" (2013).
    •"Road of Resistance" (2015).
    •"Gimme Chocolate!!" (2015).
    Background and release:-
"Road of Resistance" includes guest appearances by DragonForce guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman.
The song would be used to mark the beginning of the band's lore, Metal Resistance Episode III, at the concert held on November 8, 2014 at O2 Brixton Academy in London, which was also the final tour date for the band's Babymetal World Tour 2014.
A trailer for the song was released on January 5, 2015, integrating footage from the debut performance of the song in London. The song was first released as a digital bonus track off the live album Live at Budokan: Red Night, with limited editions of the album containing a download card with a code to download the song at no additional charge. The song was later released as a dedicated digital single on the iTunes Store on February 1, 2015.
Li and Totman are featured on guitars, although they are listed as featured artists in various regions of the re-release of the album Babymetal, on which the song appears as a bonus track, mainly in the United Kingdom.
    Composition:-
Rolling Stone described the song as "power metal" with "shiny pop harmonies". Rock Sound called the song "everything we’d expect from [Babymetal] with a bit of Dragonforce’s exhilarating, flame-fingered guitar added in for good measure." Matt Evans of The List called the song an "empowering hyperspeed anthem". According to Kadokawa, the song consists of twin shred guitars courtesy of Li and Totman, with a dynamic sound derived of melodic speed metal. The lyrics are described as a narrative on the Metal Resistance, which the band adopted on their world tour. It has also been considered the "final stage" of Babymetal and the prologue to Metal Resistance, and a transition performance that demonstrates the band's growth from the previous album.
According to Su-metal, the song refers to the Metal Resistance lore, described as "the story of Babymetal traveling across the world in the hopes of creating a new metal to unify the world as we break through the barriers of language and borders. In the middle of the song there is a part where we go, ‘Wow, Wow’ and this is where our fans from around the world can sing with us at our concerts. I hope people will listen to our album and support us at our shows." Yuimetal stated in an interview with Metal Hammer that "Road of Resistance" is her favorite song from Metal Resistance, explaining that it "has been performed at so many concerts, so a lot of memories are jam-packed. The lyrics are positive, the sound is so cool, and [the] dance is so powerful."
•Recorded by Watametal and Adrian Breakspear.
    •Mixed by Ettore Rigotti
    Personnel:-
    •Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) - Main vocals.
•Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal) - Backing vocals.
•Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) - Backing vocals.
•Kei Kobayashi (Kobametal / Kxbxmetal / Kitsune of Metal God) - executive producer, lyrics.
    •Miki Watanabe (Mk-metal) - lyrics.
    •Norikazu Nakayama (Norimetal) - music.
    •Nobuaki Miyasaka (Mish-Mosh) - music, arrangement.
    •Sari Miyasaka (Mish-Mosh) - music, arrangement.

    •Leda - bass (Kami Band)
•Herman Li - guitar (courtesy of Electric Generation Recordings Ltd. and Warner Music Japan Inc.)
•Sam Totman - guitar (courtesy of Electric Generation Recordings Ltd. and Warner Music Japan Inc.)
    Saitama Super Arena:-
"Saitama Super Arena (さいたまスーパーアリーナ, Saitama Sūpā Arīna) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Chūō-ku, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It opened preliminarily on May 5, 2000, and then officially opened on September 1 of the same year. Its spectator capacity is 36,500 at maximum settings,[3] making it the second-largest indoor arena in the world. The main arena capacity is between 19,000 and 22,500".
    •Owner: Saitama Arena Corp.
    •Capacity: 36,500 (stadium setting) 18,000 (arena setting).
The arena was designed by Dan Meis, who at the time was working for architecture firm Ellerbe Becket, together with Nikken Sekkei. Meis's design was selected as a result of an international design competition. The arena features a gigantic movable section of seating which can reduce capacity for smaller events and create a more intimate setting.
It is a favorite venue for puroresu (Japanese professional wrestling) and mixed martial arts (MMA). It has also hosted other sports events such as boxing, basketball, volleyball, tennis, ice hockey, and gymnastics. It is the only Japanese arena equipped especially for American football.
It formerly housed the John Lennon Museum, which displayed John Lennon memorabilia and closed in 2010.

The second song is sadness, Shine. "We are thankful for having met you, your light will shine forever in our hearts".

Definitely a little post processing going on with the audio forthis mv but even without it (if you view the show from fan cam) nobody can complain as it still sounds epic.

Baby Metal is a great.. uh... group. But there is another all female heavy metal band from Japan who actually play their own instruments and have two incredible guitarists. You should react to Lovebites and do their song "Shadowmaker" . Use this link, it is better than the music video and is professionally mixed: th-cam.com/video/wmAKRiG89Qc/w-d-xo.html
