Flashing forward to the 1990s, Tom (Linus Roache), Marion (Gina McKee), and Patrick (Rupert Everett) are still reeling with longing and regret, but now they have one last chance to repair the damage of the past. Based on the book by Bethan Roberts, director Michael Grandage carves a visually transporting, heart-stopping portrait of three people caught up in the shifting tides of history, liberty, and forgiveness.

A beautiful film
This one is a 5 star for me.. NO DRAMA…. Definitely one to see..

Must see movie. I loved it…….
I want to see Harry’s burgeoning film career continue, so I’m thrilled this movie doesn’t have any negativity attached to the project, as DWD does. I’m still planning on going to that film as well, but it’s because I refuse to allow anyone to interfere with me making up my own mind! I’ve never listened to film critics and I won’t start now! The latest drama re:Olivia, Harry, Florence and Shia, spilled over onto the red carpet ... but it wasn’t there during the making of the movie as we watched the BTS videos and heard nothing about it then ... I think there’s a lot more that will come forth, but I just want to enjoy seeing Harry play that character and I’ll worry about the gossip later! My Policeman will be an intriguing and very different portrayal for H and I don’t want to miss either performance!😽💋

I love David Dawson
the story was interesting but it does not come near a 4 stars, it is just so slow and there a lot of unnecessary scenes. It's really not my kind of film, it doesn't change you, it gives nothing.
