2024 YZ125x initial ride -

2024 yz125x break in ride. Good stuff starts at 23mins into the video. The rest of the video is there as a tuning reference for the changes ill make later and the way the bike responds.
*****Bike was nearly un-jettable in stock form even with a keihin. It had absolute 0 bottom end. In this video the stock yamaha head is installed. Carb has a power flow torque wing and a STIC metering block with the following settings:
- 114a tube
- 205 main
- 52 pilot
- white needle - 4
- air screw 3.75 turns out in the entry of the video, played with it out to 4.25 turns and settled at 3 turns out for the best bottom and the only way it would truly get into the pipe on the hills.

I already have bigger bore 2 stroke. I just wanted to try a 125 for the lightweight factor. Makes it feel like ive never rode a bike in my life. This was the first ride and much like everyone else found out the new Keihin bikes its almost unrideable with the OEM manual recommended jetting extremely poor power. Got it dialed after a few more test sessions. Its a screamer. Takes some work to ride it to potential but thats what makes it a fun challenge, relearning to ride again.
