      NZ... but one big disadvantage is its remoteness, you have to undertake lengthy flights to go anywhere outside the country.

      I love Glaswegian Accents and Scottish Architecture, History
      So I would move to Edinburgh than moving to New Zealand
      Both Great Nations but the biggest Disadvantage for people like me in NZ is that
      1. it's too much Remote
      2. It's Right in Pacific Ring of Fire so deadly Earthquakes are frequent
      3. It doesn't have Thousands of Years History compare to Scotland
      4. I love to see December as Winter
      Other than that New Zealand is Fu**ing Awesome I love Autearoa and LOTR
      So Scotland for me 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 but Would love to visit 🇳🇿

    New zealand is more diverse, they're not just about mountains and meadows, it's also tropical and more

    They’re actually quite different. Scotland is beautiful, particularly the north west and islands. I used to visit every winter when I lived in the UK. New Zealand is also beautiful but much more geographically diverse and the mountains are bigger. Hawkes Bay on the North Island where I live has a Mediterranean climate and is surrounded by mountains that are significantly higher than Scotland’s highest. These mountains are considered small by NZ standards. NZ has sub tropical rain forest, white, gold and black sand beaches, active volcanoes and geysers, massive fjords. The weather is much milder and sunnier than Scotland even in the southern coldest parts. My garden has orange, lemon, persimmon, avocado trees. NZ could be compared to a lot of places because geographically it is so varied.

    When you see the comparisons between new zealands cities and scotlands you really see how much scotlands resources have been exploited by london. Similar with most of the Uks cities outside london

      I don't know if that's really a fair comparison, as Metro Vancouver (2.4 million) is quite a bit larger than Auckland (1.6 million). A better comparison size wise might be Auckland vs Calgary, Alberta. Or Vancouver vs Brisbane, Australia.

    • @Andy_M986
      @Andy_M986 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vancouver is stunning, the whole of British Columbia in fact, it has what we have in New Zealand, mountains, much higher too,and beautiful harbours, forests, and sealife. It's also quite expensive, just like NZ.

      Which country of the UK would be used for comparison? England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland?
      The four country's are seperate but Great Britain consists three. It excludes Northern Ireland as it is on a separate island but is included in the United Kingdom which is all four countries together.

    You got the beer stat completely wrong,Beer is so cheap back home in NZ, your stats are based on Imported beers, it costs less then $20 for a dozen Beers, compared to here in Australia, upwards of $30 for the same dozen. I think you need to do more research buddy. Not a lot, just the beers, cheers.😉😁
