Beginner friendly furniture makeover with paper napkin decoupage

If you want to add some unique detail on a piece of furniture paper napkin decoupage is a really easy and cost effective way of doing it. I got this vintage tea trolley from a car boot sale in the summer and had it in my stash ready for a cute makeover. All the products used are listed below.

Great video on decoupage. What paint would you recommend for still seeing the grain of the wood that would come up very light warm grey/ off white please?
