Scott Adkins is beyond reproach with me. He carries himself like a true martial artist should. I hope people leave him alone, he always makes sure to say that he's not a fighter just a guy doing his best to give us good, old-school, quality entertainment. That being said, I'd love to see Dan and Scott go at it in a movie, that'd be awesome!

Scott Adkins is a great martial artist and very talented Actor. Of course, he could make a LOT of money performing in an exhibition fight but it is risky because there may be some hard shots delivered so I understand if he opts out. But, he could also donate half his purse to charity and that would be a great incentive to train a little and have an exhibition bout.

My thoughts exactly. Lots of disingenuous paraphrasing of people's statements, "I can tell them this because I'm so great..." MJW never said anything close to that. The door to "coming up off of higher profile people" has been thrown wide open except...other than for folks who follow the channel, it's on no one's radar. No one. If AJ "really" wanted to challenge MJW, just go to L.A. and call him out formally. What he wants is to come up off of the fame of a higher profile person. I never even heard of AJ until these videos. Go back and watch interview where MJW said he'd never put himself on par with real fighters who put food on the table by fighting. He said, he didn't know if he had what it took for that life. He said it because he said he respected them to much. Bruce was another actor who "at this point" had far less experience in the arts than he does.

I think he realized that he made himself look not so good and is coming off looking like a bad buy (to put it politely). If he can't convey himself properly in a 30 minute video whats the chance in a movie?. Don't know him, not dissing what skills he may have, but come on!!, it just looks like this guy is looking for more fame and is going about it the wrong way and not doing himself any favors along the way.
Scott is an down to earth, superb, humble and honest guy/ Martial Artist (Going off his films and interviews etc), and am a massive fan. For this other guy to jump on the bandwagon and "challenge" him seems a bit silly.

A couple of weeks ago Terrible Tim Witherspoon offered to fight me but he always had a great defense and the size-weight is a little intimidating. That fight would be just boxing because he said he would not allow me to kick. These exhibitions have been just boxing so far but that's because the Pros are boxers. Their opponents are basketball players, MMA fighters, etc. It would be crazy for you and I to just box. You can do EVERYTHING and I can punch and kick. We would provide LOTS of entertainment! So, as soon as, you shoot and take me down....well, you saw James Toney. I've worked a little defense but am pretty honest about my strengths and weaknesses. The "Wolfman" will eat me alive on the ground! But, the point isn't about who wins, it is about how many people will pay to see us fight!!!! And, if promoted right, we could have a very good Christmas this year!!!! Anyway, at 67 I should be just watching TV and eating a lot of good food.....Good luck and keep on being a Champion of Life because THAT'S the Title that really matters. All martial artists are not trained the same way and can't not do what other martials are trained to do. I gotta agree with Dan on this one. I think AJ is just shining people on with his MJW challenge. Even he doesn't believe the nonsense he was talking - "I'll put him away with one kick, meh! I'll break his arm! He's not on my level!" like common, lol. MJW might not be a 100% legit cage fighter tough guy but he's a naturally gifted athlete who's trained extensively in martial arts and we all know he can throw down. All we've seen of AJ is one flashy kick on an untrained scrub in a street fight. The kick kinda knock him over but then he just got up and chased AJ off. "I'LL BREAK HIS ARM MEH!" PS: I'd kill to train with Seagal! If Dan manages to pull that off I wanna see every bit of it! An in depth look at training with Sensei Seagal! And as always, @Viking Samurai love your content, man! Scott is a really nice guy. I think he definitely can fight. Not like a pro, but he can. It's obvious from the way he can move, kick and punch. He's an actor and stuntman most of all, but that doesn't mean he's not martial artist. You don't have to challenge actors to fights to prove anything. Scott never said anything bold about himself and never bragged.

The movie that the Wolfman is talking about. Is Castle Falls I actually audition for that movie as one of the mercenary‘s. It was awesome!
The film was shot in Alabama and I’m from Detroit but I do go back-and-forth from Atlanta but they wanted people that were 500 miles away from Alabama.
So I couldn’t get selected which is crazy because I have shot down south in ATL and North Carolina. Most of my auditions are from the south east region it’s the new Hollywood.

People complaining about challenges aren't fighters. Dan wasn't disrespectful and pointed things that are real for someone who trained his entire life. There's nothing wrong to challenge someone who fights, we like to do it. Most of the time we like to fight soemone we respect, even knowing we're inferior martial artists. It's like a gamer who wants to compete with other players, even loosing. It's something inherent to the hobby, we like to fight, we like to take some hits and remember how it feels. But martial artists who work exclusively on films usually train to NOT HIT, so it's hard to fight for real, and suddenly need to prepare for a fight with rules that, in most cases, limits their styles. Not to mention that it will take time that would be used for practice acting for movies, and eventual wounds could cause other delays on the primary work. So it's not about proving who is better, or not wanting to be hurt, a person who fights usually isn't afraid of pain like someone who have no physical activities. But there are some celebrities who don't want to fight to keep the "invulnerability" status that they think they have, like someone relative to Dan I don't want to mention. Remember, challenge is not disrespectful by itself, in some cases they are proof of great respect. And not accepting the challenge isn't disrespectful either, explaining why or not. Anyway, Dan said he would like to make a movie with Scott, and IF SCOTT WANTS he would be glad to fight for real.

Clayton you are the most informed, accurate, and understanding person reading these Posts. That is a great description of Dan's "offer" to fight Scott, etc. He meant no disrespect because if he offered to Kickbox me, he would be "putting money in my pocket" and I would appreciate it. Of course, he is a formidable opponent but, I was always pretty lucky in my fights and would still welcome the challenge. We would have to negotiate the rules but having been a collegiate wrestler before Kickboxing, I think I would work on the "ground game" so he wouldn't embarrass me with a 1 minute submission! Anyway, when fighters "challenge" each other, they are putting cash in their opponents bank account and it is appreciated. EVERY opponent thanked me for the opportunity to fight for my World Lightheavyweight Kickboxing Title. I held it for 10 years....

Oh, man... First The Wolfman, now The Dragon responded my commentary! I'm flattered! But don't tell me that decades of fighting and winning almost all the fights was luck. I'm just an old man who likes to fight for fun when not working, but I'd love to fight anyone 'coz that's why we train. I like videogames and I'd compete against any pro gamer, no problem, I think that's the same. People who complain about challenges probably never trained or tried just to lose weight and never took a punch in the face.

I would like to see the fight. Perhaps Scott makes a low budget Streets of Rage live action movie. Poverty from economic collapse has caused kids to join gangs and crime is up as prisons are overfilled. Cops strike and the gangs now run everything. There are a few vigilante groups left and the chosen few train with each other in bare knuckle tournaments to see who is the strongest and they become leaders. The purpose of the tournament is seeing who is capable of rescuing VIP who have been kidnapped by the gangs for ransom money. All the training is put to the test as they fight gangs of thugs to get info on the whereabouts of each gang leader to get the kidnapped victim back. It would basically be in the spirit of "The Warriors" but the protagonist is a member of a good gang set up to beat up only those trying to bully the people in his neighborhood. (there is no evil being behind it - people are starving and formed gangs as a way to survive the tough times and cops are not paid enough to risk their skin helping people as it is too risky now. Just like the Mad Max movies heroes are seen as a pain in the ass because everyone is an outlaw)

I have been meeting a lot of martial artists that are great at what they do...but they have never been in a REAL fight!!.....You cant compare a sport against a none-rules fight for your life in the streets!! Then one more thing about sports-fights is that they always know everything about their opponents, what style they have, how they think, all about their techniques and strategies....if you get in a streetfight with some stranger you know nothing about ....thats a hole another story!! This is just my opinion and what my history tells me.
