- When HAIM sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana decided to create a new space for writing songs and fleshing out ideas, they brought their taste for vintage gear and vibes to the fore. In partnership with Etsy and Reverb, HAIM outfitted their new home studio with some of the finest equipment, furniture, and handmade goods they could find.

Linn Drums and HAIM make more sense than anything, both came from the San Fernando Valley, specifically, the Ventura Blvd corridor, perfect!

Looks like Behringer is going to make a clone. I sold my Linn 15 years ago and it was the worst mistake with gear I've ever made.
Why buy a very overpriced old drum computer, when you can buy Roger Linn's most recent and best drum machine for maybe less...

@@intheblink Maybe check into how limited the LinnDrum really is... I am 100% sure every artist who used it back in the day would not even consider it compared to the modern Linn/Smith Tempest. Try self imposed limitations and create your own vibe?
@@subs4794 I’m pretty familiar with it! I wouldn’t want to pay a modern price for it, but I like the simplicity and limitations. Similar to why the Prophet 5 is my favorite synth. To each their own, but I find it helps me focus and be more creative.
