Speaking of the dump, I scrap metal part-time.I take in 2 to 3 loads of steel a week.Averaging about a 1000 pounds each load. I mainly hit construction dumpsters and some commercial dumpsters. In addition, there's nonferus that i find too and I break that down every month, That's where the good money is.There's so much metal that goes to the landfill, it's crazy. I really enjoy your videos!
To me, that's an impressive amount of metal each week! I do get a little scrapping done, but no where near that amount. It's been really hard the past couple years to get around to breaking down the nonferrous, especially. It's on my wish list for the year to organize for a little more scrapping, lol.
Such a beautiful sight for a flea market with all those trees. Looks like a campground. Thanks for the tour.. semi permanent spaces is a great idea. Glad to see you had a good day.
Found you guys by accident...but glad I found you...I would like to know where this flea market is located...I'm in Northern MI, but love a good flea market and looking for new ones to check out..
Thank you, I'm so glad you did, too! The flea market is in Romulus, near the airport. It's called Greenlawn Grove (if you want to Google it). Just in case... we are working closing up at this market for a little while (we have a bunch of other fun things planned)
Thank you!!! You are going to be one of the first people I've told, lol... we're working on closing up at that market for a little while (we have a bunch of fun things planned and we want to make sure we can do them)
Hi I enjoyed the video love flea markets but live a little ways away near greenville mi you guy's do a great job your so nice and polite and happy thanks for showing more of the flea market I enjoyed it you stay happy be safe 😊
Thank you!!! It's so nice to hear that you enjoyed the video, too! If I remember right, Greenville is quite a ride from here. Maybe one day we'll end up setting up somewhere out that way, lol
I remember hearing of Garbage Mountain. I had a friend come from Michigan, which is where I originated, to New Mexico, too, claiming to be a seasoned skier, as she skied Garbage Mountain. Thanks for the very good laugh. We were kids then, but we have real skiable mountains here. Do people ski there? Or was she kidding. I had never heard of any skiable mountains in Michigan. I Love your set up, such fun.
We do have some skiable hills(I'm not sure if they qualify as mountains).Your hunch was right about joking about this one. I have heard that one of the ski "mountains" here is actually a garbage mountain, too. Thank you, too... for laughing at the silliness with us and for the nice comment!!!
That's a pretty big flea market your at. I'm gonna have to make it down there sometime. I honestly didn't know Port hope had one till I seen one of your last videos.
It really is big, it's actually tiring to try to make it through all the booths, lol. We must end up in the Port Hope are around that time a lot of years. I think that flea market around 4th of July is the only one I remember going to in the area
It's in Romulus, Greenlawn Grove is the name (it shows up on Google). At the risk of a spoiler, lol, I feel like I should mention that we won't be out the for a little while (just in case you make it up there)
We do, besides the flea market we sell online on sites like ebay. We have also have done some live auction shows on Whatnot (it's our newest place that we sell)
