    I have high output alternator running at 15.0 v and 3 batterys xs power, getting ready for a set up like this one but for work that way i can plug in tools and chargers etc.. I can't afford to go out in adventure but one day I will..
    Can this set up handle 360 amps and 15v constant

    Wow, what a great setup. Can you walk us through how you created the panel in the window? Are you mounting panels or just laying them outside somewhere? Thank for the inspiration! Hope to set mine up soon.

    • @Autoplicity
      @Autoplicity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Lots of questions on the details of the install so a follow up video is in order. But it’s another price of wood wrapped in vinyl. Purchased the plugs and outlets we use the most and mounted them all up. Then ran wires down to the RedArc. They’re pressure for with a small bracket using a factory mount point

      Thanks Jim! I'd recommend ordering all the parts from the links in the video, then taking it to a local stereo shop. Creating the panels wiring this up would be right in their wheelhouse.
      If you're in SoCal, AudioToyz in Rancho Santa Margarita did all this work for us

    Thanks. This looks great. I've been looking at doing similar sort of installation using the dead space we have beneath the boot floor. May I ask, how did you mount the various components under the floor?

    • @Autoplicity
      @Autoplicity  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure we just wrapped a piece of MDF with carpet, then screwed each component into the MDF using the mount holes in each piece of gear. Nothings moving anywhere, and we were able to keep the cables nice and tight.

    • @ivanwall4674

    How do you dispose heat generated by those componants underneeth the floor ? BCMS and inverter might produce heat when its operation. I like this setup .But this is concerns me as I dont want any electricle fire inside my vehicle

    • @Autoplicity
      @Autoplicity  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure what's in that storage area of the P400e. If you have the room, it will work fine. It charges while the engine is running, from household power, or Solar

    Could you use the lithium ion batter to jump start the vehicle if the vehicle battery failed to provide enough cold cranking amps to start it?

    • @Autoplicity
      @Autoplicity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not designed to have that kind of cranking power a vehicle would typically need. However if you had no other choice, it COULD work. I'd rather just carry a NOCO jump starter (and do in all my cars!)
