Pros
- Metal and plastic hybrid design for improved crashworthiness.
- Weighs only 205 grams. Does not require registration or remote ID (RID).
- Brushless motor drone for durability.
- VERY effective optical flow system. Works great even on breezy days! This drone hovers better than many GPS drones. This should help make it very easy to fly by most beginner pilots.
- Bright LEDs for night flying.
- 3.7V 2000mah battery provides over 12 minutes of flight time.
- Camera records interpolated 1080p video at 20 fps, and interpolated still photo frame grabs from the video. Video and photos are recorded directly to your phone.

Cons
- The drone's camera only has a 480p sensor (4K version) or 720p sensor (6K version), with poor image quality. Camera is also pointed slightly downward which makes it difficult to fly low level FPV (sees mostly ground).
- Optical flow sensor doesn't seem to work well in headless mode.
- Low battery telemetry warning comes on relatively early in flight (approximately 5 minutes before LVC landing).

Great video! I'm thinking of getting one of these but I would like to know the distance between the motor axis. Diagonally - left/right - front/back. Also, the width of the body at the top would be useful.
It's a mini Yuknee & brushless @ that price I will overlook the Hasbro looking tx. Liking it , a break from folders.

@@Quadcopter101 you had given most of your stuff away. and were a day or so from moving. i met you at your house. you gave me a helicopter and a flysky radio controller. said the helicopter needed a piece. but flew well.. i got it out one day but having big fat fingers. i broke a piece off. i had the remote with me and some one really wanted it. as i still did not have it with any thing. so i traded it for a list of back up parts. everything always works out. other the my wife passing i was not ready for that. nor was my daughter. but we did meet at your house. as i was saying this has been hard on me. as this was one of our favorite things to do.
I remember. Again, sorry for your loss. But you should try getting back into the hobby again. It's a great stress reliever.

Hiya I bought one of these and for a brushless motor I was disappointed I find on mine there is hardly any forward pitch at all and overall seems very docile , any advice
Repeatedly press the upper left shoulder button until you hear three beeps. That puts it in high rate, increasing pitch and speed of the drone.
If the drone moves away and the controller signal is lost, will the drone fly away?
Not if it's flying low enough for its optical flow system to work. Just yesterday, I flew a different drone with optical flow out of range of the controller. It just sat there in the sky, not moving. I simply walked toward it until I regained control, and brought it back to me. This incident can be seen in my upcoming review of the RC600 drone (to be released later this week).

Hi Sir can that KS66 Drone lift a sport gopro camera??
Although it has powerful motors, its propellers aren't large enough to lift anything heavy. Don't know how much your sport GoPro weighs? But this might be able to lift up to about 100 grams (1/4 pound).

About 70 meters (230 feet), and still receive video signal.

No GPS. Instead of a GPS, this uses optics (optical flow system) to automatically maintain a steady hover.

What is the fastest drone? By that I mean fastest to take a picture/short video. A point and shoot drone.
To be fast it should be like this.
1. Good optical flow so you don't have to do compass calibration and wait for satellites.
2. SD card slot so you don't have to use the phone.
3. No gimbal (cover).
4. Be small to fit in your pocket.
5. Have a small controller that is easy to hold in one hand and easy to put on the handlebars of a bike.
6. Be cheap $100-$130.
It is possible that this 'fast' drone has GPS you shut off. Unfortunately reviewers never test it.
The Tello came close. I'm surprised that there hasn't been a good follow up to that drone.
@@Quadcopter101 A Tello with SD card and WiFi controller would be great. The faster you can get it in the air, the more you will use it. Phone takes too much time.
When are these companies going to stop putting crappy cameras on drones? Just leave it off and drop the price since the video transmission system costs them extra. Great as a line of sight park flyer. Also would like to see it 2s.
