Hello. It’s important to say that if you want to unlock the basement this must be totally in the left side of the slicers, as you can see in video. If not it will not open. It’s a safety unlock system.
How do you clean between the plate support and the base? It’s completely hollow and cavernous and food gets into this crevice every time I use my slicer and it’s a nightmare to clean. Am I missing something? Does this part swing away from the base? Simply wiping the blade isn’t sufficient. Cleanliness is of upmost importance on a meat slicer.
Can you go into much more detail about adjusting the sharpening and honing wheels? They aren’t touching the blade on my slicer, and there are 4 different bolts to adjust.
In my model (300) there are only two bolts. The sharpener in left side that you push for 15 seconds. The left one that is the trimming. That you pull for 3 or five seconds. DO NOT FORGET Don't forget to set the cutting thickness adjustment knob to zero, otherwise you will cause serious damage.
