Best unplug the device from the mains before stripping it down to clean!

I have a Model 400 and the table does not align properly with the blade so my cuts com out thicker on one side. Do you know of an adjustment or do I have to try to bed the table to match the blade? Thanks

If I may suggest for safety purposes, wearing cut resistant gloves when removing the blade is a good idea to prevent cut accidents from happening.

I have a question. I adjusted the thickness of my meat slicer a few times, now I can’t get my blade evenly with the thickness guard

    Does it need lubrication?

How do you hold the blade so firmly? Mine keeps moving and I'm also really scared of holding...

MIne does not budge while I am slicing with it. But, if yours is moving while you are using it then that is dangerous. I recently bought 4 suction cups from amazon for my sausage stuffer. That would probably work for your slicer. You will just have to get some suction cups with the same thread as the studs as your slicer.

@@davejalenderki suction cups for stuffer sound like a good idea. Do you happen to have the link for those still?

@@davejalenderki i actually want them for a stuffer

@@thirstbuster78 I also use them on my stuffer. I have a 10lb LEM 2 speed manual stuffer. These cups keep it planted to out countertop as well. Our counter is granite and i put a little water on the bottom of the suction cups to make it keep the seal. It is actually a little difficult to break the seal on all four cups. If one ove them touches the counter after the seal is broken, it will suction back down quickly. I had to drill out my mounting hole to accommodate the 1/4" (or 6mm, I can't remember) mounting bolts. It is a minor inconvenience vs the rewards. Great product.

@@davejalenderki i think I'll do the same. I have a small tre spade 3kg one, and it moves around easy. I need something, i do sausage alone, so it's difficult to manage. Vertical would have been a better option i suppose.

He showed how to remove the regular blade and loaded teflon blade using an allen wrench. It’s definitely in the video.
