We lost our Dad 6 yrs ago and we still cry on his bday and holidays, but we know he loved all his kids, grand kid's and great great grand kid's the same. We are always there for my mom because we know how much she misses him , they have been together since she was 15 and he was 17.
Same here lost my Dad on July the 29th 2014 here and we miss him too on his Birthday and Holidays here and we cry on these days here that our Dad is not around us on his Birthday and Holidays here but for me here still got my Mom left and still respect her alot and only one I got here that's left!
This was a really great video. I know it's easy to harp on the teenager and his rude behavior towards his mother but the video showed that his anger was coming from a place of hurt. I loved that the video showed the hurt that his mother was also feeling with the death of her husband, his father. The mother's words to the son when she accepted his apology were wonderful. She didn't just say, "That's okay." She broke it down, she made sure it was clear to them both that he acknowledged his behavior. Kudos! I hope to see more videos like this from Illumeably. Really good job.
The holidays can be really tough for some people. Especially those who have lost family members or dear friends they were close to. I know how much we can be annoyed by those we love, especially when the holidays arrive. So many kids mistreat their parents, they get embarrassed in front of other kids, afraid to be seen with their Dad or Mom and act like a brat until they no longer have their parents. Then they start to feel the emptiness alone, sad, they start to think about all the time they behave bad and all the ungrateful moments they were being disrespectful to their parents. The truth is we need to respect our parents, someday they won't be around in your life anymore. We are all on this earth on a short-term your parents are the one's that cares about you the most, when you're in trouble they'll be there to rescue you. I lost my Dad when I was 13 years old, it's been 21 years since he passed away I think about him from time to time. There's times when I would just lay in bed reminiscing about the old times when he was at home memories is all I got to remember him. Life is unexpected today everything was okay your parents is there, tomorrow your life could change. Everytime you disrespect one if your parents remember they brought you into this world.
