As someone who recently opened up creality print and was like "what the hell happened". I really appreciate these quick, simple but filled with good knowledge videos on the program. CHeers mate!
Thank you for covering the new creality software, as someone who has never printed before i picked up a k1 max last week and I learned that there arent really any instructions to make sure youre calibrated and set up well. Your videos covered what i needed that other general setup and unboxing videos did not cover, let alone on the new creality software.
I noticed that there wasn't a lot of help for those wanting to use Creality Print! It's a good slicer. If you run into a problem I haven't covered yet just drop a message in the comments on any of the Creality Print videos. I'll do my best to guide you through it! How do you like the K1 Max so far?
Hello Bill. This is one calibration I hadn't done, my pressure advance test came to 0.050, hopefully this will help me to get the perfect print. Many thanks again for your videos. Kind regards Gary 🙂
This is one of the most informative vids I've seen. I have a 3 V3 Pus and I'll be testing this. I do wish that you would have re-printed the test tower after the adjustment so that we could see the difference. Still, great vid. Thanks for that.
Thanks for the kind words. The reason I didn't reprint the test tower is because during the test, Creality Print changes the settings as the tower grows in the Z axis. I could've printed something like a simple Cube before running the calibration and printing a second cube after and compared those two prints. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
I avoid measuring along the seam since it is the starting point for layers moving upward. Pressure advance is more or less finding the sweet spot between over and under extrusion. But if it's working for you, great!!! Thanks for watching!
@@pushingplastic7445 max volumetric flow is confusing for me, i cant find any documentation online to show me what to do. Also, is there an extruder test that can be done on creality print 5 for a k1 max. I just need to fine tune my k1 max
Thank you for this video! I have Creality Print 5 on my Windows system and want to start using it more than the older Creality Print. Videos like this really help me learn how to use it. Question, if you know - Creality Print 5 is only available on Windows. Do you know when Creality will come out with version 5 for the Mac? I also use a Macbook - which has CP 4.3.
If you start at zero but you already have some pressure advance dialed indies it set it to zero automatically or does it keep the advance that is already there and add to it?
It only uses what is specified in the test. It doesn't add (or subtract) any value that might've included in your profile. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Ahhh. I have five prints to ship out and my ke is not extruding about 30/45 minutes into the print. Any advice or tips? Going to take it apart and inspect!
So when I try the line method for some reason the layer height gets put to .28 no matter what I do, is that normal or going to skew the results any? Using 5.1
Nice demo! I have a CR-M4 and I am wondering if pressure advance will work with it? I am generating G-Code with Creality Print 5 using the Klipper setting, but I think the CR-M4 is supposed to use Marlin as it's native G-code generator. Any thoughts on that? Thanks for your time.
The Ender 3 V3 SE would require Linear Advance, it's very similar theory to Pressure Advance. So far it's not enabled on the stock firmware for the Ender 3 V3 SE.
All of my lines of my PA lines pattern is printed broken when starts accelarating. What this means? When I print the tower, that looks good, with some material acumulated in 45º corners.
Hey I’m not sure if you can help me with this question but my filament in the middle of printing just stopped extruding and I can’t get the filament out cause when I tried to remove the filament it snapped inside the printer. What should I do?
If you click on the Device tab at the top of the screen, in the upper right hand corner there are options to scan for printers or you can manually add the printer by entering the IP address.

On the Tower test I usually measure the seam as pressure advance will affect seam. There is always a clear spot along the seam where it looks nice.

ive tried the line test and the tower, but not seeing any decent results, all lines have blobs, what would you suggest?
I'm assuming you've done the temperature tower and flow rate before running this calibration. What model printer are you using?
@@pushingplastic7445 correct, ender 3 v3 se with rooted nebula, have also done esteps so cant imagine it to be an over extrusion issue

Interesting information, thank you. It's summer, you need a trim!! LOL!!
Yeah, I'm a little past due for a trim. Next project, 3D Print a flowbee hair cutting system!
