- Maleficent, a young woman with a pure heart, lives in a peaceful forest kingdom. One day, an invading army threatens the region's harmony and she becomes the kingdom's fiercest protector. However, a terrible betrayal turns her into a bitter and vengeful woman. As a consequence, she curses Aurora, her newborn daughter. But, little by little, Maleficent realizes that the child is the key to peace in the kingdom and to her true happiness as well.
Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them together as they are pulled in different directions by marriages, unexpected allies and dark new forces at play.

@@bonifacetembo6334 She made a guy who was an untalented poor stupid loser thief who had nothing going for him as her boyfriend. Aladdin was a thief, but he was agile, clever, charming and well-liked among many who also put his life in danger just to save Jasmine before she even got to know him well. Maleficent was a fool.
I’m kind of glad that he did that because I don’t the wings the wings are so big I feel like I was getting squashed in the into a wall and I feel like I was getting cramped with the wings. I don’t maleficent’s wings I don’t want them to touch me. I’m not a fan of the wings.
Of all the fairy tales reimagined, these two movies are by far the most stunning.
When i saw the first time i was very unhappy because the betrayal of Aura's father but when i saw the rest it was very nice. I belive that it has a lot of meaning .
I hope they bring more movie's back for children back ....she is a good actress
Maturing is realizing that maleficent wasn’t the bad guy
She was an obsessed child stalker who deliberately put an innocent child in a coma, kidnapped teenagers against their will and bullied weaker females for fun. A story having the antagonist as the bad guy doesn't automatically make the protagonist "good".

@@breadnoodle She spied on someone else's daughter for years with even Aurora literally saying she "watched her from the shadows". Real step-mothers don't need to be creepy stalkers who live in the forest. And there are plenty of books and movies with a bad guy as the protagonist. That aside, I agree the movie is laughable.
@@PyroDrewyea, the spying part could arguably be considered as “fairy godmother watching”. I don’t even remember which teenagers she kidnapped. And the putting a child in a coma for vengence part, well she redeemed herself by waking Aurora up.
@@Warrior_And_Weirdo88 "Fairy godmother watching" might fit better if the child wasn't her victim she attacked earlier, hissed at, said she "hated", deliberately deceives and doesn't tell Aurora the truth until the last day of curse... so their entire relationship for 16years was constantly built on lies and deception. Even the one time she saves toddler Aurora's life by the cliff it seems she only did it so she could see her curse be fulfilled (a dead Aurora means people could claim the curse was never real and just smoke) since she didn't even try to remove the curse until over a decade later. The curse and her revenge was more valuable to her than Aurora for most those "watching" years. Not to mention Maleficent bullying the 3 fairy nannies was the cause for the nannies being distracted and therefore putting toddler Aurora's life in danger at the cliff in the first place.
Maleficent kidnapped Aurora against her will (but she did return her to her home), but worse she kidnapped Prince Phillip against his will instead of just asking for his help.
Even if we believe it was Maleficent's kiss that woke Aurora up and not Phillip's (her future husband) then "redeemed" is quite generous for Maleficent IMO. If someone deliberately drowned a child, but later used CPR to get them breathing again then that individual should not be around children, much less be allowed to adopt the child they tried to drown. IMO, Maleficent would have been redeemed if she saved Stefan's life (she could have imprisoned him or turn him into a goat or punish him other ways, etc) since Maleficent had the power (telekinesis, sleep, shape-change, wings, etc) to do it and Aurora never said she wanted her father dead. But ultimately Maleficent's revenge against Stefan was more important to her than anything Aurora may have wanted.
It’s not the Phoenix it’s a picture of the Phoenix. Maleficent is the PHOENIX he let her know who she was she never knew!

The queen's brother got lost in the Moore and was never found. Because malificent was the queen at the time the queen blames her.
Her dad didn’t raid the moors when she was a kid and their kingdom revolted and she was upset because the moors were happy and thriving and didn’t share their wealth!

Why did maleficent trusted that stupid actor I mean part 2 got me so upset because of how naive that girl was, she almost made maleficent lose her life. Trusting humans was maleficent weakness.

family isues baby mamaa drama lol but it is a story with a good ending. emotional,saddening, n frustrating but it ended up as a true happy fairy tale of love n hate. and I loved the presentaion cause I was confused at some points cause I never saw the movie but u explained everything in detail.
