Can we just all admire that John (the butler) is an amazing human being with a heart of gold? He tries to get Astella out of the lion's den so to speak when he realizes who she is in the beginning of the movie. And he also saves her life twice and helps her bring down the baroness. He's legit one of my favorite characters because of his quiet heroism. John is like the quiet chivalrous man who holds open doors, helps out the elderly and is generally kind when no one else is looking.

And what about why she wanted to kill the dogs in 101 dalmations? and in the original movie she didnt even know what dalmations were. Asking Anita why they had spots. So its a good back story for how she became Cruella and how she got her empire, but explains nothing about her lunacy in 101 dalmations.
As evil she thinks she is... Her realself is actually very loving and caring person who has a very big heart and by doing her step mum justice and actually embracing her new family.... She is someone who is Loved & Cared for by her new family and is happy.... She is Cruella who's Brilliant, Bad and a Little bit Mad.... She is a very Creative Mad Scientist who gave a new Life into the fashion industry, She's a Genius!!!!💋💋💋💋
The original movies will have to be remade. Watching them now with the prequel in place they no longer make sense as Cruella has changed.

For those of you who are confused about how Estella is "dead" and Cruella is alive, what Cruella meant was that she is no longer and orphan that works with a pack of thieves and that she is now a villain/fashion designer.

Cruella can be eccentric and sadistic at same time but she's still a human keeping a place in her heart for the one person she always loves - Catherine, her adoptive mother
And now I see why she hated the Dalmatians
That is what though was the only problem her. It does explain why should should start to kill anything. If she has killed her biological mother and the dog you could argue she felt hate for both of them, but she didn't. She put her mother in prison but that for the mother who cared her.

Thoug I found it odd how it looked like if Jasper changed skin colour when he grew up.

Hmmm I saw the film she ends up keeping the dalmatians, one of them is pregnant, and gives 2 dalmatian puppies away, one to Anita, and one to Roger.
I like the movie, but it still doesn’t answer the question of why Cruella Devil needed a background origin story of her own. The plot of the story is a big hit & miss.
I think they did an outstanding job on the costumes designs. Emma looked great.

Now we know the backstory of Cruella. Well done with this movie recap. Can you please do a recap on Jungle Cruise? I'm so glad Cruella survived that push by her real mother. Proof that her mother killed her adopted mother and the Baroness gets arrested for killing Cruella. But at the end of the movie Cruella is still alive. Here comes another story ready to begin. :)
I hope they do Cruella 2 with Baroness escaping jail.

She gets arrested bc she has killed ESTELLA. So that finally CRUELLA can fully arise to kill the Dalmatians and becoming the irredeemable villain of them all.
Yea I have to say.. The whole movie was epic.. And I still watch the movie even if it came out months ago.. It all was shocking when Cruella was Baronesses daughter, but the end credits scene was so amazing it gave me chills. The part where Roger sang his new song and the most SHOCKING PART was Cruella giving the Dalmatians to Anita and Roger! See I cant wait for Cruella 2 because I know Baroness is going to escape from jail.. I just feel like she will.

Not only is cruella scary she's brilliant.
This is one of my favorite movies. She was never a sociopath she was a physio path... She was simply pushed to fair... She's only doing exactly what her sociopathic mother was doing to her just a better job of it....
You getting sociopth mixed with psychopath.
As I always said "there is nothing fairer than revenge whether it's bad or good"

I feel sorry for Cruella, she was abandoned by her mom then gets adopted by a woman who truly loved and cared for her but gets killed by a group of vicious dalmations. Then she gets a job where she is undermined. Not to mention she is rejected by society and was bullied as a child when she went a ptivate school all because she was different, all because of her two half hair colour. Finally she met a sociopathic woman who puts her down while she works at her industry and in the end that same sociopathic woman turns out to be her bio mom who then tries to kill her by pushing her over a balcony which she nearly died. All of that is just so harsh to go through 😢
next. Cruella's mother's origin who was actually a loving innocent girl but was turned evil by outside eviller forces

ehh..i say it might been her biological mother ,but the one deserving that title in the story where the one who raised her.
This has to be one of my favourite movies,The ambition in Estella,her talent,her cleverness. I just cant put it into words but she really nailed that sweet revenge 🤍🖤

Some villains are born and some are created, all it takes is one little push.
This explains so much it's crazy.
But it also has a bit of "Sympathy for the D'vill" 💍 to it.
I'm ok with this not being the same Cruella from the animated and other live action films. While I will always love a classic, black and white disney villain, I like the change in direction they took with her here.

Now I know why Cruella hates the dalmatians and wanted to turn them into coats. They were the once who killed her mother without a reason and her rage caused her to be obsessed of Black Spot designs on the dalmatians. I mean this was the dalmatians fault. They were the true antagonist.
But I think this version of Cruella is more of an Anti-hero and Anti-Villain persona I think. Similar to the Malificent.

This movie is just a masterpiece. So much depth, it's so good like the Disney of 90s.
That lil girl is beautiful she is a real blessing that's a beautiful kid apparently the mother has some serious psychological problems with herself not with her daughter but oh well, some people are too stupid to appreciate the beautiful people in this world including the beautiful things in life life goes on

I never gave the movie a shot mainly because "shes evil cause dalmatians killed her mom" stuff, which now i get why you chose this tittle, a lot of people are like myself when it comes to this movie.. The recap finally made me want to go and watch it, which is what i plan on doing later tonight. Amazing recap !
