I went and brought her the right ones but ever once in a while I hear her tell the cashier , "can I keep the hangings"? As my head is spinning . She's like what there free ... will she ever learn? LOL :)
I really like the matte black skinny hangers you use in your closet. I using all wooden in mine at the moment, pretty much for the aesthetic. Oh and the wire hanger rant was hilarious! :D

i purchased velvet hangers from target and there was so much black velvet particles on my clothes especially my white clothing and my floor looked like someone cut their hair in my room when i opened the box of hangers... smh
I only use plastic hangers. The ones with the dip I only put tank tops on because they tend to put an extra little bump on the shoulders of my shirts somehow. Probably the way my husband’s hanging them on there LOL. And the velvet ones I use for the shirts that have the bigger neck line that tend to slide off

I use velvet hangers for my clothes and plastic hangers for air drying my delicates (bc I don’t want to get the velvet wet). My husband loves his grey plastic hangers and never wants to switch despite how much space they take up 😂

I have the cheap plastic hangers, mint color. They look great, and are durable and super lightweight. I think for practical purpose, I'm not going to change to anything else soon. I have a few clothes from dry clean that I haven't touched, so they're stuck with the dreaded wire hangers for now. =)) Other than that, I actually like the wood ones since I like wood tone. There is a slim variety on Amazon, but without the bottom rod. I'm trying really hard to not buying them since I don't really need them right now. XD

The only way the velvet color will stain clothes is if the clothes are wet, I would say get some wooden ones for wet pieces of clothing, and when they are 100% dry then put them on velvet hangers.

I prefer rubberized hangers, no lint as from velvet and prevents clothes from slipping down. But it get stained sometimes from not-so-quality clothes. And plastic hangers for light clothes. Wood is too heavy for me. But plastic should be checked for any particles sticking out, or they can hook your clothes and leave loops.

That’s the issue with black velvet hangers. I would suggest going white, beige or light gray. Not I used rubberized hangers and never have that issue.

No wire hangers! Transition to velvet hangers due to a small closet which decrease my rod space in half!!! Do like the matte black rubber hangers.

The only way the velvet color will stain clothes is if the clothes are wet, I would say get some wooden ones for wet pieces of clothing, and when they are 100% dry then put them on velvet hangers.
