We have highlighted the use of the SPIKES model.
All though you might not use the same words as Emma, we hope this video gives you lots of ideas about the structure and skills you can use when delivering bad news.

I teared up watching this. Not because of the amazing empathy that has been shown, but by imagining myself being in that man's position. Life is short and we need to spend adequate time with our loved ones before either of us leaves.
