Happy Birthday to you two, i'll be 70 in Jan. been gardening and growing things since 10 years old. Live in New England have had all kinds of weather but plenty of rain, friend with a dairy farm has cow corn 12 to 15 feet high and a bumper crop of hay!

Thank you Robert! I hope you have a wonderful 70th. What’s in like in New England in January? Cold I imagine! That corn sounds ridiculously tall! 😧

@@homegrowngarden Cow corn is grown to feed dairy cows, not sweet corn for humans infact people can not eat it.

Genuinely look forward to your video tours each month. Your plot is so unique, so different from any other allotment. It's like a little fairytale garden.
I've grown dahlias for the first time this year. Only got two to bloom (was a bit late planting them) but I'm completely in love. My new obsession!

Loving your videos, I got an allotment last year and found it overwhelming at first but slowly learning by watching videos like yours and others alike, one thing I didn't expect was the invasion of weeds, 1 moment there is none, and the next there is a swarm of them! I find the RHS website is amazing for tons of info. I plan to be on my allotment for as long as i can, its a journey!

I love your garden and the tours. The new sign got my attention right away, and it’s great to hear it came from Texas! The artist did a fantastic job of capturing some of the most special elements in your garden. It’s surprising to hear what kind of weather you have had. Here in the heart of America, near Kansas City, Missouri we have had a similar season. Usually starting in July our weather is super hot and dry and everything dies and turns brown, including the grass and the garden requires watering twice a day. This year we’ve had so much rain that I have only watered a handful times the entire summer. The weather changes from too hot to too rainy several times a week. Yesterday the humidity was 99 percent all day but it didn’t rain until the middle of the night, So I don’t know how well Dahlias will do here but seeing your glowing endorsement inspires me to give it a try. I already had decided to grow Amish Paste next year and seeing your tomatoes seals the deal for me. They are gorgeous! My sugar rush peach have never turned the peach color that they are supposed to turn. Even when I left them to grow for several weeks they just grew larger and larger and never turned peach. They lighten but that’s it. Have yours turned peach colored? I am very curious to know. Thank you!

Just found your channel and so a new subscriber too! Loving your enthusiasm around gardening, I have an alotment too, nothing better for the mind, body and soul. If you can grow some great produce too is an extra bonus....I'm trying out nearly 200 garlic cloves this season. Will keep you informed of successes as they happen.
Carry on the great work girl 🥰🥰

08 Sept 2019~The beautiful "Wizard of Oz" thumbnail caught my eye, so I had to take a look. 5 minutes in, and I had to step back to👍and subscribe! You have a golden bounty there, it must be a full time endeavour.I won't call it a job, to me a garden is pure pleasure. When I was in my 30's I would DREAM of being where you are! Of course, reality would say "put away the spade," send me back indoors, to make dinner for 4 children and my husband. I'm retired now and deal with a back injury, so I take pleasure in other's beautiful EDENS. I look forward to watching you grow your garden, and your channel.I wish you the very best and 🎉🎈HAPPY🌹 BIRTHDAY🎈🎉 from 🇺🇸👵 Texas,USA!! 💗🇬🇧

Just happened on your channel this morning. Watched this while I ate late breakfast, really relaxing. Glad to see you going no dig, I've in my second season doing a test run of what I hope will become a no dig market garden. It really is a completely different animal than conventional gardening. I'll never go back! Anyway great content and lots of familiar varieties that I've grown in Alabama and Arkansas.

Hi, just a little side note about harvesting the sweet corn, the corn silk can be dried and used as a herbal tea and is claims to be very effective against UTI & Cystitis!
For a part of the plant that is normally disgaurded it has great medical benefits.
Love your garden I wish I had more space!
    Cheers John......

Did you know that you can also use calendula flowers for dying? You can also use all sorts of flowers and leaves for eco-printing. Ninja Chickens on here has a demo. Many of her videos are also about knitting, but I think there are specific ones about dying. You might also want to look at @wingandaprayerfarm on Instagram.
