I love watching your videos, I live in Chennai, India .The weather is really hot here still I enjoy looking at your garden , videos are interesting and informative!
I was missing your vídeo, wish you made more. Always feel great after watching you with your good vibes and your work so beautiful. All the best be safe ❤️
Your videos are a wonderful inspiration, thank you. Here in Indiana, USA, we are just getting started. The snow peas are climbing up and we are beginning to get spring onions big enough to eat. Thank you so much, please keep making these charming videos.
Your spring feels like our autumn right now..hot dry but chilly nights. I think I'll be buying some tulips after seeing yours but online shopping will open up here next tuesday. I hope I can get some. Luckily I had a heap.of daffodils to plant over the last four weeks. Your plot is stunning and always has me wanting more!!
This is my very first video watching your channel I really loved it it was very nice I love gardening and I love watching Garden channel thank you so much for sharing so many awesome ideas and tips about the garden I love gardening even though I’m not very good at it.
I'm so glad I stumbled on your channel. I live in Notts too and it's great to see this in our city. It's good that you can keep tending it during lockdown
Great video and seeing all the flowers and plants that you have, they are beautiful. Gardening brightens up our lives especially during those difficult times. Keep safe and well everyone.
Looking fab. You got me addicted to Dahlia. I have 12 growing indoors ready to plant out next month. Mine are 24'' inches tall already. Will need to watch your next video on adding support to stems. Thanks for sharing your lovely garden.
I’m excited to see your garden fill up. All of those seedlings will be strong plants before we know it! I love how you’ve made use of the space and have so many flowers in there too ✌️
Frame the fence with wood and paint the gray mesh black that way it disappears more and can show off the climbing plants you grow on it. You should do beans with the clematis. Love your allotment! We don't have allotments in America at least where I live in the south. Also you might want to pull off some of those apple blossoms 🌸 that way you get bigger apples instead of a million small baby ones. Beautiful video
That’s my plan! Just need to get some materials once the lockdown is over. My apple tree will naturally drop a load of the baby apple in June. I then go over it to make sure there are no more than two per cluster ☺️
Your allotment looks great with all the flowers out in spring. A bit of cheer in these grim times. It's winter veg time here in my NZ garden. I'm looking forward to spring already!!
Hi Katrina. Just found your TH-cam site. I was looking forward to seeing you at Chelsea or Chatsworth shows. Sad that we are not able to volunteer at them. Keeping my fingers crossed that Hampton will go ahead in September. Best wishes
That was such a clever cute idea about the water dish for the beef I never thought of that before I guess I better get out there and start looking around my yard to see if I can find something similar to this and put it together love your channel you are so awesome. You’ve given me like four different ideas to put in my own garden and put on my own channel thank you so much for sharing everything with me I just love all these tips you’re handing out
I've just discovered my local garden centre now does deliveries! Plus we have a farm shop within walking that also sells organic compost and manure. April is not the time to run out of compost!
Apple trees have been absolutely covered in blossom here as well. They're just going over and you can already see how many have been germinated. Hopefully they don't shed too many come June.
Great video put a smile on my face.NPS is shutting our community garden at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn,NewYork USA.until further notice. They are using it for a staging area.
Hi Katrina. Can you remember what tulip variety you planted, showing around minute 20:00? You are sitting on the bench, they have a very pretty pink colour. 🌷
@@homegrowngarden Thank you. How interesting! They look totally different from the images that came up when I searched for them online. One more question sorry, can you remember where you purchased the bulbs from? Would be interesting to see them in bloom again this year, if you still have them planted in your allotment. Please do show us in one of your videos 😊 🌷
Must say, the view across your garden from your door is really nice with that tree gone. Looking forward to see the flowers blooming this summer, it'll be Beautiful. Wish I could send you the rain I'm having here in the states...Maryland...I may end up with 30 plants for salad instead of in the garden.
The old tree really does frame the plot quite nicely now doesn’t it? The birds are loving all the feeders but now I’m having trouble keeping them topped up! I’m sure the rain will return very soon. It’s unusual to go more than a few days without rain in the U.K.!
I have given up with celeriac, all I ever get is lots of leaves and no bulb. I have put my kohl rabi in this week it’s doing great in the no dig bed. When is your last frost due? Ours is this coming week, I use netting to keep the butterfly off and that tends to stop a lot of frost. Thank you for making the videos in these troubled times.
Hello, I saw your beautiful video full of flowers, flowering trees in your garden. I really like real beauty and your way of capturing that beauty. We also have a very beautiful garden in Prague and I like to spend as much time there as possible. So thank you for the beautiful video, also for the inspiration and I wish you well. A beautiful greeting from the Prague Garden. (please excuse my English, I'm still learning)
Just found your channel,, As a landscape gardener myself I grow fruit and vegetables for me and my family,, we invested many years ago in a polytunnel, (100ft x 30ft)... Really great video
That’s right! It’s why you don’t often have both of them breeding. That will inhabit the space together but rarely breed in close proximity unless it’s a very big space!
Enjoy watching your garden grow. Living in the US our zones are really similar. Can you explain how plots work where you’re located. Do you rent or purchase or does the government provide them?
Hi Daisee, in the UK the plots (or allotments as we call them) are normally managed by the local government and you apply to rent one. Some towns have waiting lists for years!
Hi Daisee, Katrina made a Christmas video in which she answered viewers questions including about how plots work and how she found hers. th-cam.com/video/Lx-AtoUKkTs/w-d-xo.html Cheers
You probably envy me that i can just leave a dahlia outdoors all winter in subtropical Cornwall. I might even make a video about dahlias, although it might be in Cornish!
Just subscribed!! I love tulips and love when people can grow their own food. Read some of your blog and was keenly interested. I have never had a black tomato or purple carrots, before. I have never even heard of black tomatoes until you mentioned them. Very good and, if you don't mind me saying so, you are very pretty, too :-)
I think your pond might be too difficult for frogs to get in and out of. Try a frog ladder or stepping stones inside and out. The baby frogs need to be able to get out to live in the garden
It's interesting to watch someone who is a couple of weeks behind me (I'm a couple of hundred miles south), I was worrying that I'd only just started planting out, your caution is reassuring. It's weird having such a dry spring (again!) after such a mild wet winter - I'll watch out for the rhubarb bolting, I must admit it hadn't occurred to me that it might.
I love your garden, so beautiful and peaceful. Happy gardening and ❤️from Malaysia 🇲🇾.
Hopefully you're having more rain this April. Your accent is so nice. I'm properly smitten! 🥰

The garden is lovely. Love the colours of the tulips.

I love the area around your bench/table it looks so pretty and welcoming. Looking forward to how your plots progresses throughout this season 😊😊👍🏻
You're face was full of joy pulling that rhubarb. Hope you enjoyed your crumble.
Thank you for showing us around
Your hard work has really paid off, everything looks wonderful!
Your plot is looking beautiful! Love the changes you've made and can't wait to see what's in store for the summer.

Love your videos.
Everything looks amazing! I can’t wait to see what the Parrot Tulips look like when they bloom! 🧡🧡
So happy you got to enjoy your tulips and the critters didn’t get them. Gorgeous! Everything is looking great.
I’m so thrilled they survived!! Thank you for watching 🌷✨
Looking fab. You got me addicted to Dahlia. I have 12 growing indoors ready to plant out next month. Mine are 24'' inches tall already. Will need to watch your next video on adding support to stems. Thanks for sharing your lovely garden.

Hi Katrina. Can you remember what tulip variety you planted, showing around minute 20:00?

I planted Tulip ‘Poco Loco’ but they came up much brighter than the photos on the website!

Would you do a video showing you making the soil blocks, I am intrigued and thinking of buying one of the starter kits.
Your allotment looks magical.
Very pretty!
Really shaping up!
Tulip bed looks awesome 👌 great video as always 😁
Very jealous of your lupins. It is far too hot and dry here in South Australia to grow them - so they are really exotic to me
Your Chanel is such an inspiration . You should be on gardeners world
Watching and enjoying from Florida.
Plot looks GREAT!
Looks very nice and cozy!
Just found your channel,, As a landscape gardener myself I grow fruit and vegetables for me and my family,, we invested many years ago in a polytunnel, (100ft x 30ft)... Really great video
I think I've heard that newts eat tadpoles.. .. not sure if they eat frogspawn? Great video.. lovely seeing the plot coming to life.

You have sure done a lot of work. Continue to have fun.

Hola! Maravilloso jardín!🎩🇨🇺🇧🇪👍
Beautiful tulips surrounding you and your bench. What is the name of the tulip that looks like neon pink? It is beautiful.
Add some magnesium to a spray. That will help the yellowing. Tulips looking stunning
What a beautiful Garden and Great Gardener..👍 ❤️❤️❤️🌸🌷🌺🌹🌼🌻🌼🌻🌸👍
Your tulips are absolutely beautiful! I must plant some this autumn! Do you plan to add any more for next year?

Lovely garden
Your plots ablaze with colour and health. Do you rely on a stand pipe tap or waterbuts, or both? Sincerely well done and thanks for sharing😊
Garden is looking fab. Some nasturtiums might look good (and be tasty with the lettuce). What do you think?
Yes! It would fill the gaps fast.
So gorgeous, and your garden is beautiful too 😍
You fit in very well in your beautiful garden ☺️
Hi, awesome video. I wanted to ask where you bought your large pots from? I’’m thinking of buying some online for some fruit trees.
Hey, which ones are you referring to? 😊
I was going to ask about you pots too...but you potato ones?
Lydia Lives I got lucky with those! I managed to get them free from my local nursery. They use them for selling shrubs and trees.
The Wilko store in our town sells large 30 litre pots, faiilng that B and Q or Homebase are other oulets you might find large gardening pots.
Beautiful garden! Still to cold in Wisconsin, USA
everything is in bloom
