Hi Dave great film on how to replace the Kampa bladder. Best practise is to close the valves once inflated. Phil and Juliet. Keep up the videos it's nice to have another point of view within the Caravan vlogging community.
lost weekends caravan thanks Phil, all part of the learning process 😂 Yep love the lifestyle and TH-cam is a great source of ‘How to guides’. Appreciate your feedback. Cheers, Dave & Helen 👍🏻
Great video Dave. We have a Kampa awning. Nice to know how easy that repair was, and not too costly either. The poles are good for helping keep out midgies while in Scotland :) Thanks for sharing.
Galloway Getaways That’s good to know. Hope those pesky midgies are not out in abundance in June. We’re off to Berwick, Edinburgh, Inverness, Glencoe and Lockerbie. Can’t wait 😊👍🏻 thanks for watching.
Ah, perfect! I have a leaking Kampa, it's a really slow puncture that maybe takes 3 days to show any effect. Great suggestion about closing all the values, I'll admit I never thought of that, it's been leaking for about 18 months :-) I'll now fix it next timwe we're away. Thanks again! Graham
Might be worth checking that you have screwed the black cap on tight on the inflation valve ( where the pump goes) I have woke up to a deflated awning a few times and then realised I was losing air there until I tightened it. Thanks for watching 😊
Gypsy Souls Judy Mark and Summer, thanks guys. I hope all is going well for you. Marks handy work with the halogen oven inspired us to go and buy one. They’re great, thanks for the top tip 👍😊
Yes all good here apart from the weather grrr...That halogen oven is so good it cooks anything in fact weve ran out of gas now so not going to buy another gas till we go back to spain...all our electric is free on site so may aswell use it...we pop our dinner in the hal oven go off and do our checks around the site and dinners done...superb bit of kit xx
Yes, you’re absolutely right, something I learned the hard way. I was surprised that having spent c.£900 on the awning it actually did not come with any instructions/best practise guide. You live & learn 😂 Thanks for watching and for your feedback. Cheers Helen & Dave 👍
Hi I have a kampa ace air 400 and have 4 long tubes split and 1 middle tube split I have been quoted £71 for the long ones and £43 for the small could you tell me where you got yours from for a lot cheaper? thanks Tony
Hi Tony, I got the tube from a camping shop in Norfolk, it was a few years ago now but I have put a link to their website below. Might be worth dropping them a note or giving them a call. Thanks for watching. Cheers Dave & Helen 👍
mark healey yes it would seem so. I have attached a link to show you what they look like but don’t take my word for it, always check with your local supplier. Thanks for watching the video.

Re closing the valves, the internal ones? I normally leave them open. I obviously close the external ones...Thanks, Graham
Caravan Vlogger great tip from Phil. I close the internal taps too now 👍

That sounds great Dave. Just watch out in Glencoe, you should be OK in the other places. Take care :)
Very useful demo of the Kampa awning. Thanks for sharing, Trev

Yeah thanks, I have done that before :-) But I do tighten it now. I'll close all the valves and see which one goes down...Graham
Great vid...our fellow wardens have just bought an air awning and attached it to their static for storage so this may come in handy xx

New subscriber we have a 300 air ace so this is a great video if we ever have this problem looking forward to more of your videos Kathy
shane oconnor thanks Kathy, here’s hoping you never have to replace but the good news is, it’s really easy. Thanks for the sub 😊 Cheers Helen & Dave
Wise move to replace, rather than mend...water always finds a way through. Instructions eh? ha ha.... cheers mate, be well
ISHI ART exactly! Hope you’re al well Bry 😊
Never knew this type of awning existed, question, do you still have this awning, and if not why, thank again Helen and Dave, 👍👍.
Yeah, we still have it plus a slightly smaller porch awning and a sun canopy and we use them all regularly. 👍
@@HelenandDave thanks for the reply, that could be for us to consider, I know I have the same pump in yellow so that’s a start lol, 👍.
Nice video. But where to buy a new valve (blue handle) if it is broken ?
Good question, worth asking your local camping/outdoor store or Kampa stockist list on their website www.kampa.co.uk/store-locator
Think with these awnings you are supposed to close the valves once you've inflated then if there's a leak the whole thing won't collapse

I can't see the link

Whoops, sorry 👍😊
@@HelenandDave That's great thank you
Very informative but the audio, inside the awning, was quiet at times and hard to tell what was being said.
I’ve just got an Kampa club pro 390 2019 can you get poles for them ?
mark healey yes it would seem so. I have attached a link to show you what they look like but don’t take my word for it, always check with your local supplier. Thanks for watching the video.
Pump it up, THEN close the valves :-)
Ah yes that’s correct 👍 didn’t realise that at the time (6 years ago) but certainly learned from that mistake 👍 Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
