I had Yamaha PSR740 and pretty much figured out how to use everything on it ,, mute fx, voice change , swing of a style , saving a style in registration memory for instant recalls which is a must have , I Got Yamaha Tyros 3 , and Yamaha PSRsx900, I use the knobs to remove style parts ,,,but I did learn more from your video , you got a great youtube channel I just subscribed , I love Yamaha keyboards this Yamaha PSRsx900 I haven't even tried with it , also in the vocal harmonies , most the harmonies work but the sets vocoders there is nothing on my Yamaha psr sx900 , all the other harmonies work fine but no sound at all on vocoders , except Robot and Childs voice in the last category ,I havent really buckeled down and tried to learn yet and I am very happy with Yamaha PSRsx900 Love it ,,, You got a great channel I will be coming back like your presentations you explain slowly and in good order I can understand it and my attention tolerance is about as short as it gets for learning I want to do everything my way yesterday so inpatient slowing down and taking my time makes me feel like Im holding my breath its like having a shuddering brain ,,but you do good Yamaha needs you you seem to know what your talking about , when it comes to these amazing keyboards ,Thanks .

Thanks for the video you're correct sometimes less is more however rather than use the assigned knobs why not do it manually and channel on a channel off because it gives you the freedom to choose what parts come in and go out 😜 channel on channel off has been around for a long time

I have a problem. I would like to solo only percussion (track 1) maybe some pads, before bringing the beat back. But hitting the touch screen is so slow, and the touch screen buttons are so small. Is there a way of using an external controller to mute/unmute. Only thing I thought of was to use HDMI with a larger touch screen
Can i able to reduce the style volume using those Knobs?? Bcoz i feel difficulty in touch screen during live performance thank for teaching this ... Telll me how to save this Permanently? Bcoz if i press any Banks it backs to normal mode
Yes, you can assign one of the knobs to control style volume. If you then save it as a registration it'll be the same next time you select it from the reg bank.
