Back in the day In Pakistan, My Tank used to rise to 30C+ People use chillers now, but in my time they were not common, I had some hardy corals, not many issues I remember, and every fish I had lived more than 5 years till I gave them before moving here.

I have a hybrid LED/T5 fixture (Aquatic Life DX18) and I just discovered a Silverstone 180mm server fan fits PERFECTLY in between my two kessils using the provided rails (just needed 4x 8-32 2" bolts). It's perfectly flush with the fixture and all-black, too. Gosh dang it looks so nice, it practically looks stock!I just got a cheap 3-pin fan to AC plug adapter and programmed the outlet on my Apex according to my temp probes. I couldn't be happier with the solution.

Brother, it's 111 degrees in Phoenix, AZ and it's just gonna get hotter this summer. The tanks have to have multiple fans. I keep my two tanks at 76.4 degrees. It gets a little difficult when it's that hot outside. Keep up the great work guys. Ryan, I'm glad to see you happy and having that "twinkle" in your eye again. Thanks guys!!!!

I think one of the problems with tropical fish is that many of them live in dull environments, there isn't much you can do about lake fish, they don't tend to do much. I've seen some amazing fast flowing shallow river tanks on youtube though.

I stuck 3 brand new cleaner shrimps in my tank with my longnose and scarlet hawkfish- little bastards smashed them straight away (couldn't believe it as I already had cleaner and blood shrimps in the tank with them)

I had 2 cleaner shrimps living with my clarki clowns for about 2years no issue. Added a bubble tip and the female grabbed it and dumped it in the anemone! It ate the 1st one so the clown grabbed the other and dumped it in, which the anemone couldn’t swallow. Both killed within moments of adding anemone.

It's better to just invest in a chiller and never worry about it and you don't have to vent it outside

My tank went up to 27.7 yesterday. Pointing a large room fan at the tank glass seemed to bring the temperature down by .9 of a degree in a few hours.
Has anyone in the UK used any companies that deliver natural sea water? I know it’s quite expensive, just curious as to realistic benefits. Nano tank , no space for RODI kit and a major mixing station but I have room for a few 25 litre containers. Related to this, what is the impact on water quality if storing water during peak summer temperatures?
    Thanks

Could you do it outside? My RO unit is outside in a wooden box with insulation around it for the winter! Connect it to an outdoor tap etc
