Super Mario RPG was SUCH a piece of my childhood. I don't usually get nostalgia baited this hard but this one did it and I'll gladly accept it. This mod had a lot of really good references in it.
Nintendo didn't do it, so we did.
This Geno also has a mechanic where pressing the attack button again during an attack animation will increase or decrease the power of the move depending on timing.
Someday like Megaman and Ridley once they announce a newer Super Smash Bros game; Geno will finally "Reach For The Star" -and Waluigi will apper too to steal his spotlight-
ok, but I expect this time that all the people that have been demanding him all this time to not drop him immediately like what happened with any other high demanded character who finally could join.

Small detail, but I noticed that Geno doesn't seem to blink or even close his eyes when asleep. I would consider that a small nitpick, but it can make sense due to Geno using a puppet as a body; thus, he wouldn't need to close his eyes to sleep (or blink).
eh his battle portrait in smprg does blink, and when he laughs he closes his eyes

Honestly, with the Mario RPG remake coming out recently, I no longer think that Geno won't ever be in Smash.
there is this updated full moveset Goku+Cell Project:M(also works for Remix) Mod came out not too long ago i made :D
maybe cover those two aswell
also idea for this channel: Rivals of Aether workshop characters showcase? : i mean the game is a "good" platform fighter and for many close enough to smash and there is a ton of nice characters beside just furry OCs like again Goku(by muno but my moveset design), Cell(by me again lol), tons of nintendo/indie characters made too

If Geno was never silent, how he could sound like? Roy in Ultimate? Or Jaden-Yubel?
I'm pretty sure that geno has a timing gimmick with his attacks where you press A on for example his down smash, he'll glow yellow on perfect timing or red if you missed the timing

Is the down tilt supposed to be a crouching animation as well? If it is, it’s genius to have the star leaves Geno’s body.

It can work if you use smiley from minesweeper and give him pac-man type of moveset like cursor for a grab for example
