Probably because people were asking to many question. I’m sure the media and alphabet agencies wanted them to focus on the shooting itself and not the person who perpetrated it. So when people started digging, they dropped the political tool. Better that then for them to be discovered manipulating another national tragedy.

Lol okay tourist, you don't know what you're talking about. Every casino in town had "Vegas strong" and messages about the shooting for months on their massive signs.
Where do you think the scene is?
There's a big sign at the location talking about the shooting, the whole parking lot is fenced off, the city had to wait for it to not be a crime scene to even plan anything, then COVID hit and after that they finalized the design for the memorial that will be one of the first things (after the welcome sign) that you'll see driving onto the strip.
There's also the community healing garden in downtown Las Vegas built by more than 1,000 volunteers in the days after the shooting.
And to be honest, we could start setting nukes off in the desert and casinos know you people would still come hand them cash...a shooting isn't worrying them.

I work in Vegas at one of the casinos that all of the concert goers ran to for safety. I was working day shift, so I was home when it actually happened. I was at home watching it on the news. I went to work the next morning. I drive in from Henderson, so I could see the window shot out and the curtain blowing in the wind. Everything seemed quiet that morning. I didn't find out the shooters name until I got to work and they told me who it was. It was someone I've dealt with many times. I knew him for a long time. I'll never say his name again. We still had people hiding in the casino. Too scared to move. Some of our casino guests had people in their rooms that they didn't know, just to give them a safe place to be. There were a lot of heroes that night. Our Golden Knights made the best tribute of all and have retired the number 58 in the victims honor.

I was staying at a nearby hotel that weekend. A friend and I were getting ready to go out for the night, but around 9 PM, I noticed she had fallen asleep. I thought I’d lay down for a bit and then wake her up. I fell asleep. I woke up around 3 AM and thought, “Damn, the night really got away from us.” I still remember waking up and looking at the clock on the wall and being mad at myself for falling asleep. I searched for my phone, lost somewhere on the bed and I saw a bunch of missed calls and texts. Just then, my friend’s sister called me. My friend on the bed next to me was still sleeping. I thought something must’ve happened back home. It turned out that friends and family had been trying to reach us, worried about us. My friend’s sister explained that there had been a shooting at the festival and was upset that neither of us were answering calls or texts. It was all so surreal, especially since we’d had a rough series of events the night before that left us exhausted. If not for that, we would’ve gone to the festival and arrived just before 10 PM and just in time for the shooting. To this day, it’s hard for me to make sense of how everything happened.
Edited to add- The night before, we arrived in Vegas around 9 PM, and after two Lyft cancellations, finally reached our hotel around 10 PM. However, we found out the hotel was overbooked. My friend called the travel agency, and they arranged a room at a second hotel. When we got there, they refused to check us in without the original card used for booking. My friend, who had used her card for booking, had lost it at the airport. She called the agency and, after being transferred multiple times, finally spoke with an agent who guaranteed us a room on the strip. We made it to the third hotel, checked in, and got to our room a bit past 3 AM. Hungry, exhausted, and barely able to keep our eyes open, we quickly got ready for bed, hoping to get up early and make the most of our short weekend getaway. We managed to get up around 8 AM with just under four hours of sleep. This is why we ended up sleeping through everything that happened the following night.

The reporting by the LVMPD changed at least 5- times. When this was highlighted by a reporter, she was initially banned from that news conferences by Lombardo. After still asking questions, as the stories changed over and over, she was eventually banned from Clark County, and threatened with jail.
She questioned why the time of death had changed 3-times.
Why the location of death changed from his room, to the UMC.
Why when the officers arrived the windows were NOT broken, and why the window contractor had shown the window could not have been broken as claimed.
Lombardo, now Governor and a county commissioner started a fund for the victims, raising over $800K. Only a fraction was distributed.
He owns several multimillion dollar homes in Clark County. This was a cover-up from start to finish. The truth will NEVER be known as the FBI is also hip deep in this crime.

I find it baffling that anybody would want to sue the hotel. People go into those hotels for gun shows all the time and nothing happens. His guns were concealed inside luggage bags, and it's not like they're going to search everybody's bags, especially if there are a regular like him. The security probably should have been armed anyway, but that's not something you sue over. That's just something you correct and move on from.
