i like the double edge for the katana it might come in handy lets say if the front side is too chipped or nicked you can use the back side as a back up

The kogarasu is a fun one for sure, and you do have an advantage with the back being sharp, the back side just isn't as sharp as the front, but it will definitely cut someone

Not a fan of this blade geometry but the blue ito with black fittings really compliment each other

@Katana-Karl they sure do, I like the blade shape, just don't like the resheathing part.

Could that style of blade ever even be differentially hardened..?
Or, probably just the primary edge..?
Maybe put some tape on that red sensor light, if it annoys you, but it doesn't bother me none.
That camera's focus likes to reset on a mirror surface.. Probably could be an ongoing difficulty with auto focus trying to fight its own reflection..

@user-tp9gy8kt2q still learning this new camera, and settings, but I'm finally getting the hang of it. And yes it can be DH all around, it's just a straight hamon line, nothing fancy.

@vadwanuu7825 people try different ways, it's not a easy one to resheath. I did a video on it of one way that could be safe to do. th-cam.com/video/Ms3dEYYR91A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HXlm8xBV1ogNRzTG

on a serious noto and for the benefit of sensei gargoyle, there are many techniques that involve pinching the tip of the katana and guiding it into the sheath. Check modern styles like yushin ryu. Example O chiburi yet lift arm slightly and let blade hang, pinch tip and guide.
