first of all thanks for a cracking Video, great step by step tutorial, much appreciated !
I would need to split the actual spoiler from the part that is the extension of the roof, unfortunately i can’t see the underside very well in your video. I’m considering to wrap my roof but would like the spoiler to remain black, so ideally removing the actual spoiler and mounting the roof extension but back on the car would make that wrapping with a printed pattern much easier.

Thank you for the feedback. Had a quick look at the underside of one I have here and there looks like some torque screws each end, cant 100% say they will release the wing but look about right

On Mini Cooper 2004 R50

For a 2004 it’s pretty easy to do. Just be careful not to break the rear window defroster connectors as they break easily when switching looks

Hi is this spoiler all one?? Or is the spoiler lip bonded to the actual panel that fits to the boot lid? I’ve seen many ‘JCW’ carbon fibre spoilers online for sale but they’re just the spoiler lip not the full panel so I’m just curious if this spoiler splits in two or not? Thank you

Hi it all comes off in one piece, however there are join lines so I bet you could split it somehow

Sorry the back end/the way a spoiler attaches is completely different between generations so they are not interchangeable. The Cooper F56 has a smaller spoiler you could use
