We are happy that the reservation hiccup was remedied very quickly. A little unsettling? We remember having breakfast here. I loved the macademia nut pancakes, too. It is so nice that you refreshed our memories about the beautiful views. Thank you for taking us along!💖💖

The Polynesian is one of my favorite resorts to visit. The Kona Cafe has run hot and cold for me also. Most of the time everything is good. Thanks for your review. Have a great week.

We have never been to the Polynesian. I always try to get Sean to stop there when we're at Magic Kingdom, but he always vetoes it. lol That's a shame that they couldn't find your reservations. I'm glad they didn't make you wait the whole 20 minutes. Thanks for showing all the food and giving us a real review. Awesome video, like 21, thanks for sharing!
Next trip, you gotta find something at the Polynesian that Sean likes! They have a few restaurants, quick service, and a fun bar, Trader Sam’s! It’s a beautiful resort! If you go to Kona stick to the sweet stuff! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Such a good job reintroducing yourself. We’ll have to do that also. We have never gone to Kona Cafe. I love myself some macadamias. The atmosphere seems pretty cool. That huge breakfast is something I would get. I bet if you got their signature food, it would have been more of a unique experience. Thanks for sharing.

We've only been to Kona twice, and absolutely loved it both times, but it was a minute ago.
Wow...the big Kahana breakfast looked good but sad to hear it wasn't as good!

The eggs Benedict had looked amazing, so sad they took it off the menu. The Poly is my favorite resort to visit too, so beautiful! Oh no that they couldn't find your reservation! That's so weird! That's really unfortunate that they put you on a wait list but happy you got in faster. That Big Kahuna breakfast looks incredible, but so sad that it was disappointing! I do love the Tonga Toast though, Greg is obsessed but we've only had it at Captain Cooke's to save some money haha. So disappointing when you spend that extra money and then it ends up being like a quick service restaurant. Love the honest review you guys!!

I'm sorry they lost your reservation but at least you were seated fairly quickly. I've never been there, but I made the Tonga Toast on my channel a couple of years ago and loved it. I think I need to try the macadamia nut pancakes, maybe make them at home too, they sound good. Thank you for sharing your review!

Looks a great cafe but my first impression of it would be I bet it's expensive. Having said that those breakfast looked awesome and would set you up for most of the day. There was quite the range. I generally don't eat breakfast unless I have a big day out hiking or something 😊

So weird that they lost your reservation! Breakfast looked pretty good though. However, we have not had great experiences at some of our favorite restaurants in Disney. So sad but I’m hoping for better experiences in the future. 🤗Jenn

We enjoyed the Kona Cafe but haven't been in years and that eggs benedict with pork sounds amazing....boo for taking it off the menu. Shame you were disappointed. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Hi Flack Fam. I have only been to WDW once (11 years ago). Never did the resorts. Did each Park once. Be happy you get to go more then once. Remember change is good, it gets you out of a routine. Most of the TH-camrs, I watch are Not full time Vloggers. Like you, they have Jobs. The DVC Resort looks so different now. One or more of the TH-camrs, I watch, showed recent updates. Keep having Fun on your Adventures.
We are very lucky to get to the parks frequently. We just want people to know that our opinion is coming from someone who is vacationing like them, not someone who is at the parks all the time. Many of the popular TH-cam channels are full time vloggers and we love to watch them, but also know that it's not always able to do everything they are doing in one trip, so we hope to help people narrow down what would be best for their vacation. We still love Kona Cafe, but if your not interested in a sweet breakfast then we wouldn't recommend it! Thanks for watching, I hope you get to go back to Disney World sometime soon!
Never tried the Samoan... guess I won't be trying it anytime soon... wow... the food looked delicious! Oh, well, that's not good that you were disappointed... we have never eaten at Kona... I have had Tonga Toast but at Capt'n Cooks... yeah, breakfast at Steakhouse 71 was good.. not as good as we had hoped for but their dinners were awesome!
Stick getting the Tonga Toast at Capt'n Cooks. It's not that it's not decent food, it's just equal to quick service theme park food and more expensive. Thanks for joining us!

I do hate it when a restaurant I enjoy takes my favorite entree off the menu. Zero stars. We haven’t ever been to Kona for breakfast. That Tonga Toast does look delicious!

That new building at the end just seemed to keep going and going! So why did you run the video of the center water feature backward at the end? Just noticed and as a creator also I was curious. 🙂 Ya when a place has a couple awesome dishes it only makes sense to think you could get other things there and expect similar results so that is disappointing! So was the Tonga Toast and the one with the banana stuffing one and the same dish or were those two different things?
😂 I was using footage I already used, so input it in reverse for it to be a little different, you weren’t suppose to notice the water going the wrong way 😂! The Tonga toast is the gigantic toast with banana in the middle and then the macadamia nut pancakes, were pancakes with pineapple on top! We definitely will stick to the well known food next time! It seems like your breakfast here was pretty disappointing which is a real shame. Like you, Kona was a favourite of mine for ages but with them not finding your reservation and the average good I can’t see me rushing back.
When we looked for others reviews, most were about a years ago, but everything was very positive. I do worry as vloggers we tend to be overly positive even if it’s not that great! But we did learn to stick to what Kona is famous for! Thanks for watching!
