5 Minecraft Airship Upgrades LIVE

I'm going to try and upgrade some redstone airships!
I'm inspired by AndyIsYoda's top tier build videos, and I want to try the same with redstone.

I have way too many ideas and not enough skill to add to this design, like togglable tnt dupe cannon to bore through terrain if it comes up, or a little crew cabin/bridge, reversible design to be able to go back and forth without rebuilding the whole thing. But I will give it a try, an observer-piston extenders are a great idea.
I haven't watched the whole stream, guilty at that, so I don't know if you fixed that already, but just in case, I have tried the ship from the video in my survival game and I got two bits of feedback:
First, for some reason honey platform to start the engine didn't actually let me place any blocks on the back observer to start it, had to extend it with one block back, inline with the piston and shorten the hull a bit.
And second - it would be nice if walls moved at the same time as bottom, it gets a bit nauseating in first person otherwise, so I ended up standing on honey blocks on the wall for the most part.

Good feedback, thank you! I bet there's a way to chain pistons so the floor moves a piston slower so they remain in sync.
It might mean an engine further back that's harder to start and stop. So I plan to design a reverse engine.
A note block start/stop would be epic if doable. When I do more videos on these I hope to have much more polished designs. I was just inventing as I go this week, making it up as I go along.
I worked on far more sophisticated slimestone tonight for another project and I may be able to reuse a few components. It may result something complex - not what I was going for with these airship - but i think now the base simple airship idea is fleshed out, something more sophisticated is in order.
