Growing up in LA during this era as a dancer - this era was dope and The Soul Brothers was the fuckin shyt!!! Salute V-Love, Legendary and Kraig E
Give thanks for this archival footage. Legendary masters still teaching how’s it done. Wish we some scheme team dance footage too.
Right, I remember running into Chameleon from Scheme Team back in the days at underground LA hip-hop clubs. He was so dope. There is footage from the girl that hosted Pump It Up that has Soul Brothers & Scheme Team in a circle somewhere on TH-cam.
Soul brothers 1 all day im soul brother Vluv lets go love the comments thanks 🙏🏿 for the support fam
VLUV! Droppin Rhymes on Drums was my video back in the days! You guys are the best!
I Remember Seeing Them Perform on In Living Color 1990 Their Styles Had a Heavy Influence in The Hip Hop Industry I Remember My old Crew Many Styles would Incorporate some of Their Dance Moves in Our Breakdancing Styles way back in the Early 90's
No way I’m actually watching footage of Soul Brother Craig! Wtf🔥🔥🔥 shout out Hart and Soul, The Dream Boys, the Jammin Lovers, The Godfathers, The Teezzers, The Lady Teezers, Ukrainian Cultural Center, The Casa, Water on the bush, Unity, The Palladium, The Palace ,Hollywood Live, Paradise 24. The Great OG's From West Coast !!!!!
These guys made D jeff. They stole the show where ever they performed. If these brothers could have flowed in verse like they did in dance we'd be witnessing the 6th dimension. Jah love and respect to the immortal soul brothers ! You taught hip hop how to grove !!!
These were the masters. If this footage ...or you tube existed. All we had were def jef videos.
(90) I had one of them (HipToss) in my pops home showing me moves before a battle for that weekend. Good times

Classic Classic west coast freestyle masters... B B D copied their whole vibe and look. Thank you SS!
The Cutty Macks My Peeps !!!!
Wow!!!!!!! Man this is what grooving, and getting down is about
If you saw them in person back then the vibe & flow they had was amazing. Watch them in Def Jef's videos - Black to the Future and Droppin Rhymes on Drums. Also shouts out to the Scheme Team check out Word Power by Divine Styler. Sad that you don't see freestyle soul dancing that much these days anymore paired up with real hip-hop music. These were the days. Also watch the Soul Brothers and the Scheme Team by D. Barnes getting down in a circle.
+Big Al I saw them live SEVERAL times. I was trying HARD to bite Kraig E but could never come close. We were all at the same clubs back then and they even came to ours (Soul Children crew, Brown Rice n BBQ, B.A.S.S., Juju, etc) and when they hit the floor you stopped what you were doing to watch.
Dancing bastards! The Soul Bothers were my idols.
The Best Dancers Next to Scoop and Scrap Lover.......The Soul Brothers!!!!

Hey Big Al, are you by chance in touch with these brothers?
No but I do run into Craig E once in awhile around LA at some of the good Hip-Hop joints. He still tears up the floors with soul.
Okay well hopefully I can get in touch with them. We need you all to support this film project we are doing on the era when we ruled. L.A. dance scene:

Soul Brother's have a youtube channel, they replied on this video, it's the very 1st comment by soulbrotherlegendary. You can contact them there.
I love what you're trying to do! You should also watch the Soul Brother's documentary they made on the dance scene in LA called the Suns of James Brown.
Thanks Big Al Gonna find it now!!!!
Divine stylers Dancer !!?!?
You mean Def Jef's dancers. The Scheme Team were Divine Styler's dancers.
Nahhhh bruh. These the Soul Brothers. --- Scheme Team was who you're referring to. For me, I take SBs over ST all day Even today.
Both dope for local LA underground dance scene.
Soul Brothers really incorporated various styles and it could be seen in the movements. African, jazzy bebop, tap, OG mom and pops soulful Groovin', man it was really something to see them.
What is first song?
I wonder if he E Joe knew these guys
