Another thing about this group is that they were short-lived, at least as a quartet, but they're album as a quartet was still recorded and finished. This group reminds me of another African American 90's R&B girl group, Tami Roman's girl group quartet, "Female" and she was one of the four members. She sang and she was also the rapper of the group as well. They were on the soundtrack album CD for the movie "Panther" from 1995. Another African American 90's R&B girl group K.R.U.S.H. who sang the song "Let's Get Together (So Groovy Now)" from the "Mo Money" soundtrack CD from 1992, but that was the only song they had song they ever sang. That group named K.R.U.S.H. was going to release an album that same year in the fall, but some reason it didn't. It's heat-breaking real shame.
I remember this episode and have been looking for this part for a long time. Thanks for posting. I wish we would have gotten an album with the original quartet.
@@Soulsonic562 I hope and pray to God I do. I love finding and getting a hold of rare, hard-to-find, and unreleased 90's R&B and Soul, but of course they said they wanted to stay away from that era of R&B and that current area of that genre which they were in at the time, they wanted to be more bohemian and unconventional. They wanted to keep alive the 60's and 70's area of soul music going, but the label didn't know how to package a bohemian girl group at the time. they were expected to be like "En Vogue".

@@Soulsonic562 Maybe I can try to get in contact with him and see if he will send me some songs or maybe the whole album.
Rumor is that Mercedes is releasing an album soon.
