Betty C Hi - I'm 20 and a blues artist. Much of my inspiration comes from Motown entirely as well as the original blues cats. Those time periods generated far superior music compared to some of the garbage today. I hope to bring this type of class and artistry back to the billboard top 100.
It's crazy how much so many people hate on the only og that was alive frm the iconic group to give us a story which led to *in my opinion* the greatest biopic of any musician alltime. Who care if he wasn't lead, yall hating, can't even fill his position so what do u really think of yourself jokes aside bc they all dead now🤔
Just because someone speaks the truth doesn't mean they are hating. And the truth of the matter is that Otis was the least talented of the original Temptations. But he was fortunate enough to be the only original Temp not to die prematurely and was able to write about his experience as a member of one of the greatest vocals groups of all time.

@@lwmson ill give u a perfect example of a truth still being hate. Imagine just winning the nba championship, and while celebrating, someone rather tlk about the time u lost in the finals instead. It's a fact that u lost but the timing of that fact is hate. Stating a truth depending on the timing can still be hate

It's not that anyone has an intense dislike for Otis. Actually, I like him and think that he's a nice guy. I just think that he was the least talented Temp.
Considering the fact that Harvey and Gwen put up Barry Gordy's original seed money it is no wonder that the Motown finishing school became a fantastic success.

I'm in my late 50's now yet still adore the talent, finesse and excellence of the soulful vocal delivery of every Temptation member. Through their many changes., but the originals were my favourite. KTF.
Well how smart was Eddie when he suggested that they strike to get new contracts? Had Otis had faith in the groups talent or legal knowledge of what a fair contract was, they wouldn't had to have waited until the iron rusted.
People talk bout artist goin broke etc.... But dont understand the huge amounts of money stolen from artist with writing credit and publishing etc.......
He can't lead no song. He had the worst sounding voice of the famous five. I can tell that he did not like David. I believe he was kind of jealous of him, as well as not satisfied with David's action. Otis seem to be controlling. Maybe that is why Patti did not marry him.
How you know that he's jealous David? I believe that David was real good and lets keep it real, some people start swelling up at the head and think their more than the others. Otis even though he wasn't a lead singer, he was a leader that made sure business was handled, making sure they followed the rules and if they didn't comply, he had to let them know. When you're in a leadership position, you have to make decisions based on the business of group and I don't care how great you are, if you don't wanna be a team player, it's always someone whose waiting for the opportunity to come in and do the job. Right on for Otis.
