- After 500 km I would like to share my impressions of the Tynee Explorer. For me, it is a versatile board that is more suitable for the city than for the terrain. All my opinion in this new video.

New version explorer ESC have come out. We will shot a video to introduce it soon. ❤
When did this take affect? I just got my board a couple of days ago, but it was sent out in start of January. So do I have new or old ESC?
Maybe is better to send message via Instagram. I communicate with Aiden often and always it is pleasure.
I have that board and it’s my favorite of all i have. The torque is very strong and the acceleration is crazy. Love that board, good job for tynee !
Absolutely agree with you 😉
Thanks for taking the time to make this video and sharing your thoughts. That last con sounds like a deal breaker for me. Hopefully, they'll fix this issue in a gen 2 explorer,.actually I think I read a reddit post about this issue....maybe that was you? 👍🤙
I didn’t write about this issue on reddit. I seems that this issue is normal for all Explorer boards.
Thank you very much for this wonderful video. It is the most objective one I seen. Congratulations.
Thank you, very appreciate it 😇
@@tutojede I saw that ESC2 80A is now available and seems to solve the most anoying CONS you was talking about.
I hope you will be able to get it for 65$ as you bought the first version.
Enjoy.
@sylvainpierre9446 Yes, it solve all problems 👌
@@tutojede I am ordering it with this ESC2 80A.
Your video helps me to decide myself to buy it.
I felt the fun you took to use it and how pleasant it looks be.
I also ordered the DKP trucks because I will use this board in a urban context.
Next steps... Enjoy it!
Thanks again for your video and comments.
You did a real good video with a pleasant music.
English text is really useful.
@sylvainpierre9446 You are welcome man. Ride hard, ride safe 🤙
Skvělá hudba a záběry Plzně, nemůžu se dočkat ❤️
Jen sis ho moc neužil 😢
Agreed about the remote settings and most the pros. I never experienced the torque thing but i never go over 15mph and i use cloud wheels or Dad Bods. Having the option to customize the settings has been the biggest pro for me as a newbie.😁 I reached 330 miles yesterday on it and love this bad boy.
Yes remote settings was a deal breaker for me too. Same thing has only a few brands. Better is on Exway (IMHO), but Tynee's is really good and I love that you don't need a phone app and adjust everything from the remote. Torque problem is only with speed 25mph and up. IDK why, when I ride about 20 mph, there isn't any problems.
@@tutojede maybe Aidan knows about this because he did say, they will release the new ESC this week or next.
Thanks for the vídeo!
Thanks for watching 💪
I hope you got better after your injury.
every failure is just a way to improve yourself 🙂
Hello, I am a tynee explorer owner as well. I am mostly happy with it.
I have a question about the IP67 rating. In the description it says waterproof battery. What about the other components like motors/ESC? Could they be damaged when riding while raining or when going over water puddles?
ESC is waterproof as well. Motors aren’t because of it’s construction, but when you spin wheels freely after ride about 10min, then heating will protect your motors because of physics of water 🙂
Thanks a lot for the reply! So, I am guessing you've ridden the board in rainy conditions with no problems. Now I'll be more confident during accidental rain.
Do you have any additional info from Tynee about riding or maintaining the board in wet conditions?
Yes, I rode in rain a few times and without problems. BUT!!! Water isn’t covered by manufactures warranty!!! If you ask Tynee what you want to do after rain, they will tell you that it’s not covered by warranty because of possible water damage. Be careful every time when you ride in the rain 😇.
Oh I see, so the advertised IP67 rating for battery/esc doesn't make the board water/splash proof, which is a bit misleading :( .
At first glance I was hoping to get a more secure board for rainy conditions - one of the most tricky things for electric vehicles.
I wonder if there is a waterproof (or at least rainproof) electric board out there...
No one give you this 😕
It's been a while since your last video on the Explorer. How's the board holding up now after even more time? Any new thoughts or issues?
Thanks! 🤗
In sold my board after 1000km... but new owner still riding on the board and has about 2500km on it and without issues 💪... this thing goes strong... If you considering this board I highly recommend new Pro version 👍
@@tutojede thank you! 🤗
I bought this board and i actually love it although the range was a bit dissapointing. my main issue is that whenever i ride now i started noticing the board have a weird tremble almost as if theres a rock in the wheel. people said it could be out of balance? i dont understand how to fix it
Yes the same thing was happening to me, it helped to balance the wheels, but still the board was getting vibrations (probably from the belts). You should have invested in the Explorer Pro, which is on pre-order now.
Hello, over a year later now. Do you still like the board and do you still recommend it? Or is there anything better at the price in 2024? Thank you for the video!
Explorer is little bit outdated now, but still really good board. Because of the sale is reasonable to buy one... but there is much more better choices for the original price (without sale).
@@tutojede thank you, do you have any recommendations? I'm after a long range and flexible 2 in 1 board haha
Ownboard Bamboo ZEUS Pro for sure :)
Thank you
You are welcome 👌
Will you do a review on the meepo envy ?
It's not in my plan bro🙏
⚡🤙🏼🤙🏼⚡
🔥🔥🔥
hey noob question here but how did you get your speed to show on the vid like this? it looks like it is coming from the board instead of GPS? are you just screen recording an app on your phone?
any upgrades planned for theboard? I have a tynee stinger. thanks :)
It is GPS from by action camera 😉. Tynee just released theirs Explorer Pro. It is upgraded version of previous model with more power 🫡
What knee pads are u wearing and are they effective in a fall? Thnx
It is cheap knee pads from Aliexpress. I have it about 5 years and safe my life a lot of times. Works very well.

Thnx for reply
You’re always welcome 🙏
This is a nice review so thank you. Im leaning towards this board myself but its the dangerous con that has stopped me. Now theres a new ESC out and Im guessing the problem has been adressed?
Don’t know bro. I have only first generation of ESC. Try to write to Aiden via Instagram. I hope that new ESC is without problems 💪
Reached out to tynee. Seems like they are still delivering boards with the old ECS even if you order one with a new. Then send an additional upgraded one from china that you have to install yourself. So you can ride faster but have to pick the board appart. Pros and cons I suppose.
Then again. If its a faulty and dangerous ESC I really think that the upgrade should be free of charge and the old boards shouldnt be sold with it, as people could get badly hurt. Imagine any car manufacturor acting this way.
In this point I agree with you 💪
Can you put street wheels on this board like cloud wheels for example
Of course you can, you just need to replace the right pulley if necessary 😇
Would you ever ride this with the 115mm wheels?
No, but with 120mm cloudwheels yes 😇
👍
🔥🔥🔥
Can you explain this ESC issue? Does the board shutdown or what?
When you hit bigger hole, then motor loose traction for the moment. It is like you accidentally pull off throttle on remote for while.
@@tutojede Ah, thanks for explaining. I believe they claim it's been fixed with the new ESC.
Yes they fixed it. I communicated with Aiden about it 😇.
You use it everyday? So you use it more than the stinger?
My daily is Stinger. Video about Explorer is older. In the past I used as daily Onsra Challenger / Explorer.
@@tutojede I've been looking at the challenger, what is your opinion on it? Why the switch to tynee from onsra?
@darrylg2043 Onsra is overpriced for the specs and his motors are loud as hell. As I know new generation "PRO" is almost same as first generation.
@@tutojede thanks again for the great advice. The onsra challenger pro is such a good looking board though, but I'll stick with tynee.
@darrylg2043 For the price is Tynee better option if you don't need direct drive board 🙂
Hi? You live in the EU, right? How long did it takes to arrive after ordered? Have you pay some additional fees, VAT or something?
I got it after about 14 days to EU and without any additional fees 💪.
@@tutojede thx mate!
You are always welcome 🙏
This board must seem like a big boat compared to your stinger.
Yes it is. I love decks that are up to 90cm long now. It's long enough to be stable while still being compact enough. And if you modify it a bit and put wide trucks, it's the perfect combination.
ohh boy that thing is dirty! :D
after 500km it really is 😅
To víš, jiný stroj, jiný mrav 😂
Nobody said 7000w, 😊 jusTe 3500w, you don't read the spec
