Hi. Kami. Thank you for your honest review of Tynee Explorer. Tynee Explorer should be the most powerful flexible all terrain board on the market. And customer can adjust the max speed. Power. Acceleration. Braking and other settings via the remote. It’s very convenient. We hope you and your fans love it. Thank you. Have a great day.
Thank you, because of this video I bought a Tynee Explorer and it's a blast to carve, super comfy ride and turn tight corners like a dream. I don't care much about power and speed, I just like carving aggressively , and keep it around 25kmph. I only ride as fast as I can run on foot, just in case I have to bail off the board haha.
Hello, I really like your serious, detailed and no biased reviews. One thing I do not like about most boards today is that they come with very little options and accessories. I do not want to buy a board that just offer AT and cloud wheels. I want to be able to select different pulleys and wheels. I do think the Tynee explorer seems interesting. But one needs to learn how their ESC holds up as well as support and customer service. Cheers
Nice review. After gaining some experience & owning (& sold) a Eovan Super, this new Tynee Explorer interests me the most. Top speed & best acceleration are great for bragging rights but means nothing in real world riding which for me, equals comfort, tight carvability & maneavering. Carbon fibre sounds nice but bamboo flexy is for riding. I really like this Explorer. BTW I don't which city you're at in S Korea but man, it looks like a ghost town!!! & Scary that everyone is still masked up. Regardless stay safe & shred on 🥳
Thank you for watching and saying that :) Actually, I can not say which board is the best these days. I mean, each board has its own charm. So people can choose the board better if they have a standard like you.
⚡ *Glad this video came out on my day off!* ⚡ I didn't have to wait too long to watch it 😂 I've been very curious about this board, new ESC/Remote with a lot of settings on the remote, TKP/DKP options, flexy deck with micro drops, it has a lot to offer! Interestin to see all Barrel bushings with Flat washers for the DKP setup, no Cupped washer on bottom bushings 🤔 Super carve! Other TKP eboards use cone/barrel on the front so interestin to see double barrel on the front here. I love how you pushed it by the rear truck even though there's a handle on the front lol. A lot of times it's just more practical to carry by the rear of the board. Loved the carving footage and the info on the angle of the trucks. I think they should have kept the TKP angle more standard, they already offer DKP option so no need to make the TKP option more carvy. Maybe offer baseplate angle options so not hard to "fix" the issue. I don't know why there is a metal "tip" in there, I've seen urethane ones before but not metal. That flex looks great 🤩 I enjoyed the comparison between the two truck options, I thought you would make a separate DKP video so thank you for not makin us wait 😁 Another amazin review, my favourite thing was the carvin footage and the detailed info on the trucks! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I agree with you. Explorer's has the option of DKP, so it would have been okay if the TKP was a less flexible setting. And if someone wants to use TKP only, I think it would be good to upgrade the bushing~ :) Anyway, the movement performance of Explorer was really impressive~ Thanks X 10000000000 Brother!
Hi KAMi! I am seriously considering buying this board. Every day I ride GTR Bamboo with street wheels. I love the flexibility of my deck. My other off-road board is the Propel Endeavor. But it is very heavy, too heavy ... So I'm looking for a 2in1 board for off road. I have 2 silly questions: - how much the deck in Explorer is more flexible than Evolve? Is there really a real difference? I weigh 65 kg - does the Smart ESC used in Explorer ensure particular precision in power dosing? compared to e.g. GTR :) Thank you so much for taking the time to read this message. Now I will check your WOW GO AT2 PLus test Greetings from Poland!
I was thinking about getting the exway atlas 2wd but the company removes negative reviews on their site. I think that's shady af. Tynee seems more honest.
HI KAMI Question so the TYNEE EXPLORER is stable with TKP trucks or not I saw speed wobbles? Should I worry if I bought it thanks 👍 amazing review like always 🙂
I felt a slight lack of stability when going straight at high speed. However, as mentioned in the video, removing the tip between bushing of TKP trucks helped a lot to improve stability. Anyway, the movement performance of Explorer was really impressive. Also it was a really good board to learn various of riding if your buying focus is not high-speed riding only.~ Thanks :)
So this is my main board I'm thinking about getting. I'm just not sure what the flexibility means or how it's useful. I don't really like floppy boards that dip too much
Great video again Kami 🙌🤙! I know what you mean with the TKP vs DKP. I have the same feeling with the TKP's now. I have my first TKP setup (Zeus Pro), thoug super stable (definitely at high speeds +50km/h). It feels unstable in the sense it's really restricted on the pivot movement compared to DKP. DKP allows for way smaller turn radius and response. But that means more changes on wobbles at higher speeds.
Thank you for coming, mate ~ :) Yeah, I don't think there's a perfect truck for everyone yet. And I don't think it'll ever come out lol :) The laws of physics will not allow for flexibility and stability together.
@@KAMiJUINs always a pleasure amigo 🤙. Hahaha yeah tell me about it 😭🤣. But true or they need to engineer one that adjusts to speed (like cars and steering do). But that's too complex and expensive 🤣
That's an interesting point. I currently have a TKP setup but I'm looking to upgrade my board. Most of the major boards in the market have DKP which, typically is less stable at high speeds than TKP. But now I wonder if the difference in stability is anything significant.
@@vineetwashington5013 if you run a great bushing setup then no in the sense of stability. It all depends on what you want. High speed and stability then TKP is good for anything +20mph. But deep carve or even aggressive carve when you want to then DKP is road to take. Also easier to use in city life where you need to do a lot of tight cornering. Or if you want to learn to slide. And even so, with DKP you can go really stable (but less carvy of course). Just the right setup of bushings and washers will do the trick. You can contact Brad at Riptide and he will help you out. He's awesome! Hope this helps
Kami, I see you use 285-5M belts for Cloudwheels but Tynee has told me they were not the stock belts and that only 300-5M fit. Did you run with the 285-5M ?
Of course, torque is affected by the Kv of the motor, but the amount of current output from the ESC is also important. My experience is that its acceleration was slower than that of hurricanes, and it was similar to B-one.

If carving is the main purpose, then Explorer is the better of the two models. And your weight doesn't matter~ And Consider the recently reviewed Pivot GT as well

Is it possible to modify this board for more power, and if so, at what cost? Personally I like the flexy deck and it's very tempting as an immediate purchase. So I'm curious about the difficulty of upgrading it later down the road. I really want a Zeus Pro but money is tight so I was thinking about something a bit more affordable...

I was able to mitigate the issue just enough to be tolerable by balancing the wheels and adding a bit of silicone grease on the wheels when installed so the tyres sit better on the rim.
