Be careful about the AF-1 -- there has been no actual camera built yet, no photos from the camera -- lots of hype about something that does not even have a physical prototype.
I 1000% believe the Analogue camera is fake. They haven't built even a prototype. They stated that the rendering on the website is created from CAD files, BUT those renderings? They do NOT have a film door. The lens design? The description is more complex than the Contax T2! The viewfinder? That description is ripped from Konica. Bottom line? I don't believe it, not at all. I would be happy to be wrong.
Agreed. Lots of slick images on their website, along with a totally unrealistic timetable for release. Although the following critique may seem cynical, he makes a bunch of great points and uses logic related to the realities of manufacturing a camera th-cam.com/video/4DeYSmp3IkU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NZcA7Bhm1zWYamyu
What's shipping now is the I'm Back Film - it drops in like a film and has a Micro 4/3 sensor, the one you talked about is the older replacement back which came out a few years ago. The new one is made in cooperation with the name holders of Yashica. Thanks for the news.
Wrapped up my thoughts about the Analogue camera quite well. The weird negativity towrds these new camera is so mind-boggling. Sure, maybe it's not for you, but let's support products that are pushing film forward.
I would be nice if Nikon would start producing something like the FM2n or maybe the F3. The main issue would be lenses, now that Z is 100% electronic. I doubt (and fear) it would never ever happen.
I like the investment into film photography and making a new camera. I’m hoping somebody has a SLR in the works for us who are looking for more of a manual camera.
Analog camera seems so cool. In my opinion the Olympus Mju ii is an awesome camera ( alot of wedding photographers agree with me). That cameras goes for around $300 on ebay. This Analog camera seems like a new version of that. Everyone says point and shoot cameras suck but those Mju ii cameras are selling like hot cakes.
Eventually, more companies have to start making higher end film cameras for the hobby to survive, right? It can’t continue forever with just the fixed number of film cameras still out there in working order.
Congratulations on 4 year anniversary. Great video again.
Congrats on 4 years!!🥳🍾🥂🎊

Congratulations on 4 years of content! Love the updates and would like to see more camera use in the field.
Happy Forth year, wohoo!

I thought the analogue point and shoot camera was a scam because they haven't had any prototype for years...
