I've also got a list of corrections going, let me know if you see something I missed:
- Ringo + Orihime's auras don't include the butterflies, so I'd move them below Vanilla Chili Pepper 😢
- Madoka's card symbols are not part of her aura, but I'd leave her where she is!
- Ichigo's diamonds and musical notes are part of the movie stage decorations, but I'd also still leave here where she is :)
Sakura's first performance was absolutely gorgeous, she definitely deserves first place. Kaede is is my second pick bc bear fart rainbow haha.

I think we all agree that Ichigo's aura in the movie was very large. I remember when I first watched that movie, I was mesmerized. Like, as I remembered, it was the largest aura in Aikatsu I've ever seen..

Personally, I think Aoi's aura works perfectly for her. Snowflakes are made of water, and Aoi is described to be like water by Tiara. Plus, the snowflakes are 8-bits, to showcase her love of sci-fi brand Futuring Girl. Yes, I noticed the alien inside one of Kii's bubbles.
You should do a separate video on the auras of the idols from Aikatsu Stars in the future (and maybe Friends after that). Anyway, another fun video!
Theses are my favorite auras based on their uniqueness, designs, and how memorable they had made on me when I first watched the series: 1. Yurika 2.) Miyabi 3.) Rin 4.) Sakura5.) Sumire 6.) Seira 7.) Ran 8.) Sora
That's true, I do like that the snowflakes are 8-bit! Aura rankings for every series will be here one day 🙏
Happiness On The Same Earth stage was one of the first aikatsu clips i saw on youtube before i seriously started watching aikatsu and i was a little disappointed to find not every idol’s aura had the level of majesty Sakura’s had 😂
I like to think that the animation team tried it for her and then said 'never again' since it was so much more elaborate 🥲
Auras are what makes aikatsu stand out sm compared to other idol shows in my opinion! Especially when new characters were announced I used to wait sm to see how theur aura would look like!

The auras is what gives the creativity in the performances in Aikatsu ^^ My favourites are Ichigos, Kiis, Akaris, Madokas, Skips, 2wings, Seiras, Mikurus, Otomes, Marias, Aois and Kokones ^^ Great video as always ^^
This was an interesting video. I was quickly able to catch on what you were basing your rankings on. I agree Yurika's aura is one of the most iconic and memorable, and Ichigo's is definitely powerful.

Actually the butterflies in Masquerades aura are not part of the aura 😅, they are the special effects of the stage. If you check the game in the high point of the song the butterflies appear too.

I'm kind of surprised that there's also an aura for the group. (starlight girls) and not just solo/unit ones (tbh i blame myself for skipping 90% song performances while watching the anime lmao.).
Wow, and here I thought that Mizuki will have a great & elegant aura but it turns out to be too... mediocre. I also agree with soleil, it's so lazy (although, not lackluster as luminas) compared to powax2 puririn, tristar & some other units out there. At least be creative and don't just add flowers, you know 😭. Even though soleil is a unit that i really love more than others. (i used to hate them at first tho lol).
Favourites: Miyabi, Sakura, Ichigo, Yurika, Ran, Powax2 puririn, Rin, Kokone, Nina, Tristar, Aoi (I AGREE!! she should've had a sci-fi or futuristic aura but her aura is nicely enough to not include that as a favourite.), Kaede, Otome, 2wingS, Skips♪, Juri, Dancing diva, Sora, Sumire, Hinaki, Amafuwa Nadeshiko, Mikuru.

Considering that Johnny is not an idol, but he can do idol things - like in that episode where the girls are jumping around to learn a special or something - could he also have an aura if he wanted? 😗

THANKS FOR THE SHION INCLUSION!! I love her. My favorite unit aura is powapowapuririn by far! When they performed together angel snow it was just magical...its just fits them well. I really prefered Akari's first aura to be honest...😅 the hearts just look...cheap...like stock footage and it was such a downgrade. I agree Sakura's aura is pretty and unique, but my favorite aura is Sumire, I love how it envelops her

I still have a hard time deciding my favorites from the OG series, but that's what makes it fun to watch. I look forward to your ranking of the auras from Stars, as well as what your thoughts are on the idea of Hime and Yume having the ability to produce a progression aura during performances, as well as the rest having theirs' change around the end of season one. Including when some changed after acquiring Star Wings.

Mizuki and other Starlight idol aura were fine and lovely (Except Mizuki's aura probably kinda beauty). But to me, for me even i've seen episode 22 of Aikatsu (Which became of my favorite Aikatsu episode), Ichigo's aura were always that flashy so cute with the bright and brightest, and it makes me love it so much. 🍓 👍 🤗 💖
Just have to say that it's about only about one more month, and i'm sure that day a day i would always wait might be that so exciting! 😁 🎮

Personally, I love the auras that involve falling elements and ornate rings of objects. It's why I love Yurika, Mikuru, Rin, Risa and Nono's aura. Your dislike for Nono's tells me you wouldn't like the Stars era arc auras...
Personally, I think the best auras in Akari gen (Hinaki, Rin, Madoka, Nono, Sumire)
The worst are all the basic flower auras because it's sooooo boring...
The DreAca girls have pretty unique auras that kinda show off season two's better animation. They all have some big rotating element that makes them stand out.
I'm torn on the rings of objects!! On one hand it is nice to get a clear view of their key character symbols, but as an animator I want them to move around more 😭
Ikr Kii's aura is super special, like A RUNNING UNICORN WHAT COULD BE BETTER, it was so perfect and cute and i hope she had more songs in the anime :c
I agree mizukis aura is okayish but it would be better if the crescent moons were gold and the roses red!!

My favorite aura is always will be Ichigo and Soleil
But my least favorite is Akari's 2nd aura(too much hearts although one thing I love about her 2nd aura is that it has small flower petals which represent Akira as she now has her own Idol style she still admire Ichigo since Ichigo's aura are also flowers) and Seira(idk her aura reminds me wil Rola's a bit from aikatsu stars with out the chains)

I feel like for Aistars aura, their first wave was just random and not much appearing. Their 2nd waves are better

Omg please rank the Aikatsu stars aura! Personally i think they did the aura better because it's rarely covered the movements

I think the video is great! But it seems you confused many of the stage special effects for elements of the aura
Were there any others I missed? Finding info for them was a little challenging so I really appreciate the corrections!
@@idolkiwi The butterflies in Masquerade stage are part of the stage effects during the song climax, the card symbols in the alice in wonderland are not part of Madoka's aura, its a stage effect as well, and in the movie the diamonds and musical notes are a stage decoration too :)

I think some have already noticed it but I really love how there is a subtle Baton Pass with some of the auras
Specifically, Akari (Pre-Skips performance), Ichigo (S1), Mizuki (S1) , and Masquerade idol auras are all similar. Flowers that are slowly spreading out and flowing evenly, before their individuality truly shine in later of the shows, but they still retain that "idol that i admire" vibes to em
