  • Jan 2014 Snow,
    Truck is 2005 limited V8 4runner.
    3” level kit
    265 70 R17 tires.
I have since sold the truck back in 2015. And picked up this 2009 Urban Runner.
2.5” level kit still running X-reas suspension.
That suspension has its place in the snow drifting world.
Stiff and anti roll characteristics help sliding in the snow with out leaning over too far.

I have a silver 2005 V8 Sport as well... I live in Michigan & that has been me on dozens of beautiful lake effect storm days! I worked for a company until recently where my company vehicle was a 2017 TRD Off-road Premium with Blizaks on. I was able to drive the gen 4 & gen 5 together which was fun to compare the two. I always wished I had the Gen 5 with my Gen 4 V8...

Great video buddy. Idk if you still have this Runner, but how is it on gas wise? Debating whether I should get a V8 or v6. Leaning towards a V6 since I live in California, but man do I love the V8! Thanks.

      I sold the V8 got a 09 v6 sport 4Runner.
Both are equal power. Fuel range sucks on the V8. It’s full time 4wd.
250-260ish miles on a tank during highway road trips.
My new truck gets 300 to 340 miles to a tank on highway Road trips
      V6 all day.

@@YotaGuy_Kyle awesome. Good to know! It ultimately comes down to if I want to pay for the practicality of a V6 or the novelty of a V8. I’ll be going practical now!

@@realottripleog7740 I also have the v6. When I had a Leveling kit, 31's, and roof rack it got 15.5. Now with 3inch lift, 33's, and the rack it's 13.7. Hopefully that helps.

@@user-wp7if awesome, my friend. Good to know, the gas where I live, in California, is about $4 the gallon. So the V6 just makes the most sense. Might be picking one up real soon as well.
