    Thanks for sharing this info, I intend to try it prior to my next relaxer. I'm just wondering what type of oil you added to the mixing bowl. You said it's your 'special oil' so where can I get that?

      Hi African Queen nice how was your relaxer day did you do it yourself or did you go to the salon. You can use this same method as long as you have a conditioner that does not contain any protein. If not you could use a conditioner that already has protein just skip the part where I added protein. 😊👍🏾

      I do my own relaxer. And i try not to over lap.This is why I couldn't understand why my hair was falling. Most of my products have protein. Other thing was i wasn't doing hot oil treatment. Woow, now things have changed. I takes notes, and i only following videos that make sense. And yours is one of them.👍
      Thank God. Thank again for shearing!

    Hey Meka, I want to change from a wave to relaxed hair. Any tips on the transition? Love your videos by the way❤

    • @kurlymeka
      @kurlymeka  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Michell 🙋🏾‍♀️thank you. If you would like to change from a wave to a relaxer you would need to allow your new growth to reach at least 4 inches then you would cut off the wave hair leaving the natural hair. Then you would relax your natural hair. The reason for this is because the wave is permanent and therefore it cannot change or revert to been relaxed hence the reason why you would cut off the wave hair. Another option you could do which I would not recommend is to relax your hair while the wave is in it. However, because of applying double chemical on your hair there would be a high possibility that the section of your hair that was waved could break off leaving only the section where you had virgin hair, hence the reason why I would not recommend this option and so I would encourage you to do the first option I mentioned. I hope this is helpful to you feel free to ask any further questions you have and all the best👍🏾😊
