1. Do we need active Wi-Fi connection near the vehicle for this to operate or will the vehicle connect with one of the service providers directly to stay online.
2. When remote starting, will the engine charge the batteries or consume the battery power.
3. How long is the i connect license valid for - is it unlimited if not what is the renewal fees.
4. How many phones can be connected with the car
Hi Mr. Mathew, here are the answers to your queries:
1. You need not to have an active Wi-Fi connection near the vehicle as it is connected to the internet via an inbuilt Universal SIM.
2. When remote starting, the engine will charge the batteries. One of the main purposes of remote ignition is to charge the batteries in between if the vehicle is being parked for a longer period of time.
3. You can see the license validity in "My Toyota" section of Toyota i-Connect app. It will show the current free license validity of 3 years from the date of activation and will be chargeable after that.
4. Up to 5 mobile devices can be connected using the same user ID & password.

Good explanation. My car is neodrive. I connect shows all view status properly. However, remote service do not working. I tried, but couldn't resolve the issue. What may be the issue? Please guide.

The Glanza E Variant supports iConnect with non-connected features in which you can only book the service appointment and view service history through the app.

Hi, Toyota iConnect waise sabhi models ke liye available hai but connected car features only Glanza, Hyryder and Hycross ke liye hi available hai, baaki models mein aap sirf Service appointment book kar sakte Hain and service history dekh sakte hain.

Hi, Yes this app works for all Toyota Fortuner models manufactured after August 2023. If you have purchased the vehicle just now (within 1-2 days), you can wait for another 2 days. Once the dealer will issue the delivery note in the system, it will work. Also, make sure that correct mobile number is registered with the dealer, otherwise it will not let you log-in.

Hi, the connected features of this app are supported by Glanza, Hyryder, Hycross and Rumion as of now.

Hi Harshil, this feature is Available in Fortuner 2022 but only with non connected features like booking service appointments and viewing service history. For vehicle tracking, Fortuner 2022 comes with an inbuilt GPS which is operated by Carot Minda App.
Glanza g 2021 model me chalta hai kya
Hi, Glanza 2021 model mein connected car features kaam nahi karte. Aap sirf appointment book kara sakte hain and service history check kar sakte hain.

Hi, currently the connected car features are available for Glanza & Hyryrder only. For Innova Crysta, you can only book service appointment & check service history using the app.

Yes, the remote ignition feature is only available in Hyryder and Hycross only.

Hi, the Carot Application is available for Innova and Fortuner. In Fortuner the tracking device comes inbuilt and comes with a free subscription of 3 years. In Innova, you need to get the device installed from the nearest Toyota Dealership and annual subscription charges will be applicable. You can install the app from Play Store. The user id and password will be provided by the Toyota Dealership after app registration.

The app subscription is free for 3 years. Right now it only shows the renewal date in the app but the renewal cost is not mentioned.

Hi, the connected features are only available in top model. In S variant, you can only book service appointment and check the service history from the app.

How to unlock door with i connect
Hi, unlocking the doors is not a default feature available on iConnect. However if the vehicle was parked unlocked and you locked it using the app, then only you will get an option to unlock the vehicle. These connected features are currently available in Glanza, Hyryder, Hycross and Rumion only.

How to change password of Toyota I connect?
Hi, we could not find the option to change the password from the App. Instead, you can use a simple method. Log out from the App. Before logging in again, click on reset password, enter your registered mobile no., enter OTP and create a new password. Hope that helps you.

For Glanza S variant all the features will be available in App
All connected features are available for G and V variants only.
How to update my phone number bcz i purchased used car
Hi, if the vehicle has been transferred in your name then you can get your contact details along with your name and address updated at any nearest Toyota Dealership. Once your details are updated in the DMS, you will be able to login to the app using your phone number and the VIN of the vehicle.

Hi, only Glanza, Hyryder and Hycross come with connected features. In Innova Crysta you can only book service appointment and check out the service history.
