Props to Quinn being able to fill in this podcast and share his experience. Beaten 0-3 back to back in the grand finals must've been really hard. I know he's strong and can bounce back stronger next season.

No one can mock GG for being down 0-3 because all people knows they dominated the scene since 2023. Also they won against Liquid last Riyadh and got more prize thsn TI@@tjfiguracion5487
I just wanna say, Quinn proactively, on his own curiosity asking Insan1a that question at 1:13:00 was just so sweet. It really shows what an earnest and open guy he is and I came around 180° on Quinn. What a dude. Wish him all the best.

@@xt14n I've played dota since 2013, and I event went to TI this year! 💪😍 I'll do you one better, we're actually having an entire LAN in the A-frame next year 😉
I was at TI this year, First time ever. I gotta say, the atmosphere was amazing in the stadium, I really enjoyed it a lot. Watching Dota games live is something else.
Props to them for coming on and sharing. Been really needing the content now that there is no after show and probably no truesights. One thing im really curious is the players thoughts on the scene, do they still feel longevity in playing the game competitively. And all that
A few things. Congrats to Liquid for winning TI, and beating GG to do it to boot. Best story ending you could've asked for. Quinn, you and the team have nothing to be ashamed of, Gaimin is still top 3 scariest teams playing dota today. I will miss Yatoro and the current iteration of Team Spirit. Yatoro was my favorite carry to watch, looking forward to see how all the shuffling levels out. I'm keen to see how the new nigma roster performs (was hoping they would have Onejay on the team, they played well together) and Thank you guys for sharing your thoughts with cap and the rest of us so soon after the grand finals you both played in. And cap, your the man. Looking forward to seeing you argue with Avery about TI results and the roster shuffles.
This was such an amazing podcast. It's awesome to see Quinn and Insania to be able to have this conversation. Really good comments, and as per usual Cap was an amazing host.
I was so looking forward to seeing this episode, I was already thinking about the conversation Quinn and Insania will have right after TI Final finished. Love to see the bromance on and off the stage/battlefield. Big appreciation to all 3 of you for this podcast 🥰
This is fantastic content. Thank you to all 3 of you for doing this, it’s so interesting to get the different perspectives. I’m glad Liquid got their big win, and I’m sure Quinn will get his next year. It’s amazing how quickly Quinn’s career jumped to getting top placements, super happy for you and can’t wait to watch next season!
I've loved every episode of this podcast for different reasons, but this was an absolute masterpiece. I loved just hearing so much of their thoughts about the tournament.
Appreciate such candid thoughts from Quinn and Aydin. It is incredibly interesting to have the window into their worlds and hear the real discussion about the matches
Great podcast. These guys have really strong competitive spirit despite the lower TI prize pool. I hope they can continue to carve out a future for themselves.
I'm glad I didn't "Quinn what do you think about that Scorched Earth bug?" "Yeah that sucks" "Ok cool. Do you think that disqualifies your win against them?" "....."
@@CapCasts that's a bit of a straw man of what I was getting at. I'm not a pro player, so it would have been interesting to hear a question like "do you think the fights would have gone any different? It's basically losing a Radiance worth of damage" and hearing what their view on the matter is, or if the game is already so late that Scorched Earth would only be tickling heroes at that point. Could also have lead into a question like "obviously Ramzes should have called for a bug fix, do you think he just didn't notice? Like have you ever had a bugged interaction in a pro game and only realized it after?" But yeah, it wasn't meant as a criticism, just something I was curious about, love the podcasts and your casting.
@@Mignon15 It's not really a straw man, just showcasing how the conversation just isnt' worth having when theres no way to bring it up without implicitly calling the result into question. Which in turn puts the person who benefited from it in a weird spot one week after the event happened. You can have that conversation with plenty of high level players, streamers, or pro players. Doesn't have to be someone directly involved.
@@CapCasts yeah I guess it does kinda put Quinn in an awkward situation, with somebody clipping him out of context to post it on Reddit or whatever, even though GG clearly won the game fair and square. I didn't really think along those lines, as a viewer I was just curious about Quinn and Aydin's thoughts on it. But I guess that's why I'm not an interviewer. 😅

Great podcast. I do wonder if the main goal of dota players is still gonna be winning ti in a few years or that the goal will switch to maybe riyadh or another tournament
As a professional athlete, which you are, a successful hiring manager would definitely understand the value of the drive, effort, dedication, teamwork, and ability to succeed under extremely difficult and competitive circumstances. It's evident you're intelligent and can apply those same skills to another endeavor if you have the motivation to do so.
Sometimes I feel like drafts and meta are talked way too much instead of giving props to the players that made them work. I appreciate a good draft discussion, but I would also like to advocate for, in this example, how Boxi went absolutely beast mode on Tusk with the saves and initiations, Insan1a after being so hard on himself lately played Insanely good on clock and enchantress, Nisha on Puck was unmatched to any other, Micke once again proving how talented of a carry player he is and how fun his active style is, and 33 felt like after all these months his ideas and playstyle finally merged beautifully with Liquid. A draft is only a bunch of picked and banned heroes, the players in control are who turned them into a Ti win. Congrats again to the bois at Liquid, super proud of you. Also good luck to Quinn and Gaimin, I'm happy Liquid finally beat you, but I'm also rooting for you in the future. Great podcast.
Im a noob and I still thought to myself falcons way overestimated the doom and lost games for it and now GG lost games since they first phase banned it. What insania said about NP being a hero that was a french kiss for them specifically was kinda genius as he knew why he thinks they've lost to map pressure. Kinda easy for me to see that as GG and falcons were the best gating teams literally known for it on their carrys being the only one to do it. Very surprised gamings coach didn't see that. 20/20 whatever but I think he's coached them for a couple years and I think they need to try a new coach. And don't forget liquid has 3 coaches.
Good podcast. But sorely lacking Joey talking about what he's using to hydrate, how strong the smells were at the hotel for TI, and are we getting a Liquid junior squad in SEA.
Overcooked is goated! I'm with you on all the boomer games like you have mentioned and Heroes 3, I still go play here and there. We have similar taste Aydin, go buy God of War and Wukong now to dip your toe into the present!
Still loving the podcast, every episode is great Cap! One minor feedback tho, could you perhaps change the font you're using for the twitter / instagram handle etc? It's very hard to read. For those of us that have followed pro dota for a while, we're pretty much aware of it, but if new players start watching, they might have a hard time finding Quinn / Ayden / you / the guest.
If your fulltime employment and means of getting money is GAMING, how come you have a bad computer? Especially if you have the money to upgrade. Same with Ammar, he refuses to buy a good mic. WHY???
I believe he used to tilt and mald really bad, but he seems to genuinely have gotten a pma in the last few years, and I think his results speak for themselves.
