That is the same reason why I put up with my Cardiac surgeon. I did not hire him to be a great dinner guest or entrance me with stories of DIY projects. This guy has no stories. His voice sounds pre-recorded. His name uses almost every letter in the alphabet and spell check is useless. I cannot pronounce his name so I just call him Sir. He has photos in his office of him standing next to all these world leaders. He is smiling. Wow. I have never seen his teeth. He looks like he is in pain when he smiles. His office and desk are immaculate and void of possessions. He is a Dick head. He implied that my anxiety is the root cause of all my issues. I wanted to slap him. He knows I do not like him and the feeling is mutual. I am not rude and I try to control my “ fuc¥ you” expressions but it is really, really, a test of my Jersey Girl patience to not take him out. It would take one right hook and I could flatten him. Sigh. But the bastard helped me and now I am healthy again and now I have to be “ nice”. This really pissed me off.
If you guys are wondering why strange wanted the ticking of the watch to stop. It’s because he needed to concentrate, the ticking was causing him to think about how much time he had to remove the bullet. Also foreshadows doctor strange being the holder of the "time stone".
Really makes you think about how good we had it in the Infinity saga days, where even the smallest of detail in a relatively far off movie connected to the overall main story
It’s neither. It’s bad luck to be able to see the time during surgery. Something to do with the superstition that if you can see the time then the time can see you. So you don’t want to be able to see a clock unless you absolutely have to call time of death. Doctors are weirdly superstitions

The first one made Strange into a person. The second one made Strange into a costume. Sure, his character development and the way he acts are much, much better in this film than other phase 4-5 films, but it’s a far cry from the original film.

You would never think this show is about a superhero that's a sorcerer who can fight gods and magic assasins, and has a magic stone that manipulates time with this clip alone.
This scene shows that not only his Strange a genius but how much he relied on having the fine motor skills of the worlds greatest guitar player. It sets up how screwed he is when he wrecks his hands.
Honestly, I want a whole series of nothing but Dr. Strange as a surgeon instead of a super hero. I imagine something like House MD but with actual medical accuracy, both legally and practically.

I hate that after he became Sorcerer Supreme the fact that he’s a literal Doctor has not come in to play one single time. I love the mystic arts but some of my favorite stories in comics with him are ones where it highlights the fact that he’s really an extremely talented physician.
I love how in movies you always cure the patient by just removing the bullet. In real life removing the bullet is wayyy down on the priority list and usually it’s never done unless it’s physically impacting something by just remaining in there. How about fixing the damage the bullet did actually getting in there.
This is a big fear of mine, but hopefully unfounded. Being a organ donor, I hope they try just as hard to save me over the benefits ad value of the organs. I just gotta stay alive until my son is atleast 18, then it's fine.
