I did so many of them for my sister & friends. They all love this beautiful necklace. My sister even wear it as a hairband & it looks great. Love this pattern. I’m making another one for me this time for this summer. Thank you Kristin I love your video.

I have been crocheting for 28 years and I don't think you went slow enough or close enough for someone who doesn't know how to crochet but I love your video beautiful necklace I might make one thank you for your time have a blessed day

Thank you for your feedback. I do a new series of videos that are much slower for beginners throughout the entire video. This is one of the projects that is on the list to be redone and improved upon. Here is a link to that slower for beginner playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLIDlgC28fLmQaJuPJzL3wcGUJFVcu7hO8.html

Love the tutorial, but I do have a question. At the beginning you crochet 40 then 8. Now at the 16th bead do you crochet 40 and then 8 for the next round? Also at the very end do you crochet 40 and then 8 before you tie off? I want to try it, but want to make sure I've got it just right. Thanks. 5:02

Hi Kristin, I have a doubt here. We start with chain 40 > 8 chain>bead>8chain> until 16 bead > chain 40 > Bead > chain 8 and continue. what i meaning to ask
First question when you start with chain 40 later chain 8 then bead
Second when we finish one strand of 16 beads we do chain 40 plus chain 8 or chain 40 and start with bead> chain 8 ? i hope im not confusing here and you understood the question.

I am making mine now - question - you started with chain 40 and then chain 8 so after that 16th bead you would chain 40 and then 8 then the bead just like you did in the beginning, correct? So after each 16th bead you would chain 48 and do a bead, then chain 8, bead, etc?

    • @KristinOmdahl

This is really beautiful. Is it okay with you, if I sell the necklaces made from this pattern?

You mentioned they are 4mm beads. May I ask. What size yarn is it? So beautiful! I picture jetAB on black yarn. I bought Czech Glass AB Iris beads that are a purply, green in 3mm. Do they make yarn thin enough? I'm relatively new to this.
