I did so many of them for my sister & friends. They all love this beautiful necklace. My sister even wear it as a hairband & it looks great. Love this pattern. I’m making another one for me this time for this summer. Thank you Kristin I love your video.
I have been crocheting for 28 years and I don't think you went slow enough or close enough for someone who doesn't know how to crochet but I love your video beautiful necklace I might make one thank you for your time have a blessed day
Thank you for your feedback. I do a new series of videos that are much slower for beginners throughout the entire video. This is one of the projects that is on the list to be redone and improved upon. Here is a link to that slower for beginner playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLIDlgC28fLmQaJuPJzL3wcGUJFVcu7hO8.html
I've viewed a couple of your tutorials and I love the way you teach, not to fast and not to slow. You speak very clearly and loud enough to be heard. Oh and I love ❤️ everything I've seen. Thank you for sharing your talent and ideas.
Lovely! Thank you! Suggestion: in order to string the beads, try pouring a small amount into your palm, then poke them with your needle….rather than holding one at a time between your thumb and forefinger.
Thank you, Kristen, for this pattern! I would like to purchase it but couldn’t find it on Etsy so I thought I would get the supplies separately. Please tell me what yarn you use and what the content is - cotton, nylon, synthetic? Thanks, again!
AWESOME 🤩 I can’t wait to try this. I am all thumbs when it comes to crocheting 🧶. You make this look sooo easy that I am heading to Michaels to get a set of hooks. Thank you for the fantastic tutorial video. 👏🏽❤👏🏽
Love the tutorial, but I do have a question. At the beginning you crochet 40 then 8. Now at the 16th bead do you crochet 40 and then 8 for the next round? Also at the very end do you crochet 40 and then 8 before you tie off? I want to try it, but want to make sure I've got it just right. Thanks. 5:02
I love making the necklaces. Wonderful yarn and beads match perfectly. I was wondering is there is a way to make the necklace a bit larger as I must crochet tighter than you and mine is tight going over my head.
your sister, Summer (Summer's Tips & Stitches), sent us to check you out....I am AMAZED at what you are doing! soooo BEAUTIFUL! LOVE IT! I am so happy that I stopped by! :)
Kristin, my sister and I have a bet to see is right! Do ya Crochet the 40 then the 8 every time? I printed off the instructions and that is how I read it. Could ya please help clear this up and see who won. Thanks so much. Oh love the necklace!
How should I calculate the beads and chain if I have to change size of necklace?? I want to increase the length of necklace so its easy for adults to wear it. Pls help here
I wish I could send you the image of my necklace I did. I have done 2 of them.. one is rainbow as it has all colors of crystal and other is black beauty as it's whole black
Could you please tell me what crochet hook are you using and of course where can I find one? Love the fact that has a handle but the handle is thin. Thank you for the tutorial! Love the necklaces and the colors you used .
Hi Kristin, I have a doubt here. We start with chain 40 > 8 chain>bead>8chain> until 16 bead > chain 40 > Bead > chain 8 and continue. what i meaning to ask First question when you start with chain 40 later chain 8 then bead Second when we finish one strand of 16 beads we do chain 40 plus chain 8 or chain 40 and start with bead> chain 8 ? i hope im not confusing here and you understood the question.
I am making mine now - question - you started with chain 40 and then chain 8 so after that 16th bead you would chain 40 and then 8 then the bead just like you did in the beginning, correct? So after each 16th bead you would chain 48 and do a bead, then chain 8, bead, etc?
Wow im in luv wit this !!! I luv the way u show how 2 crochet for thise beginners because i used 2 be a beginner and other ppl would go so fast. I really think that important in making a video. Thank u for making a wonderful video!!! :) & i just Subscribed 2 ur channel!!!
I feel like this is a stupid question since I've been crocheting for years, but I'm assuming the size 0 (1.75mm) hook is a steel crochet hook? I have a size 0, 1.75mm Clover hook and it just looks a lot smaller than the hook you're using in the video. Thanks.

You mentioned they are 4mm beads. May I ask. What size yarn is it? So beautiful! I picture jetAB on black yarn. I bought Czech Glass AB Iris beads that are a purply, green in 3mm. Do they make yarn thin enough? I'm relatively new to this.

Hello Kristin, I have one question here. what color thread will go if i have to use mix color beads? please help me with this . Thank you in advance
Choose a color that matches one of the bead colors, or go with a high contrast color from the bead colors. See what you like.
You are a good teacher. That's a gift.
Thank you very much!
Wow I can’t believe you made us sit through all the beads.

Yes real nice I can't wait to do this but would it look nicer with more beads
Absolutely!
Lovely! Thank you! Suggestion: in order to string the beads, try pouring a small amount into your palm, then poke them with your needle….rather than holding one at a time between your thumb and forefinger.

Stunning absolutely stunning!!!!! Thank you Kristin!
I love making the necklaces. Wonderful yarn and beads match perfectly. I was wondering is there is a way to make the necklace a bit larger as I must crochet tighter than you and mine is tight going over my head.
Depending on your gauge, you could be happier moving up to a larger hook. Let me know how that works! xoxo, Kristin
Great technique and unusual !!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Do you think it's ok to use viscose thread for this necklace??
Yes
Thank you so much
Thank you for this tutorial! I am an experienced crocheter, and this has expended my interest in making crocheted jewelery. Thank you so much!😉

At theend after knot should it be glued so the knot doens't comeout?
Using a yarn needle, weaving in your loose ends is ideal.

this is the simplest most beautiful design i have ever seen ,i just love this design
I prefer a 36” necklace. How do I make this length?
You could add more chains between your beads for longer lengths of the wraps. Hope that helps! Let me know if I can help you with anything else :)
This looks absolutely amazing x
Took me about the same length of time. I used #10 Cotten thread and 6/0 seed beads.
What size crochet hook are you using?
3mm
love it, can I use any small crochet thread or does it have to have elastic in it.
Che tipo di filo usi grazie
Omg !! Love it 😍 almost give my yarn away because don't find way to use ! Thanks

how would you make this a little bigger like longer?

Thanks for you showing us a great neckless. Easy and fun. 🌺🌹🌺
I am making mine now - question - you started with chain 40 and then chain 8 so after that 16th bead you would chain 40 and then 8 then the bead just like you did in the beginning, correct? So after each 16th bead you would chain 48 and do a bead, then chain 8, bead, etc?
No the ch40 is for the back side of the necklace only. Did you follow the link to the pattern page? Maybe that will help to see it :)
Thanks Kristin, I did that and it now makes sense!

If it is marked with the same mm (1.75mm) it should be the same size. No such thing as a dumb question. Always feel welcome to ask me :)
Okay. Thanks, Kristin! I ordered your yarn, and can't wait to receive it and try this.
Wonderful! Thank you so much :)
