Eurovision is my passion. Eurovision was my work and I am still gladly part of the professional community of this project. I started at Eurovision 2016 as Czech Head of Delegation. Such a Eurovision story! Form Eurovision in Sweden I went to antoher ESC experience. Kiiv 2017 Eurovision. This was my first and last failiur. Sometimes you need to learn trough losing even it is not plasant. We ended up 13 in the semifinal, second best score of Eurovision Czechia back then. But after this we established ESCZ national selection format. It was mostly held online. Because of this we found Mikolas Josef who went 6th at Eurovision 2018 in Portugal. Than 11th with Lake Malawi, at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Eurovision story is crazy. After finding all candidates and songs (-1) for ESCZ 2020 I resigned and left the television for working freelance.
Not to stop being part of Eurovision, I created this channel as I have an urge not to do just Eurovision Reactions from a different perspective. But also to do national selection reactions, watch others how they do their craft and also give a different approach for Eurovision fans.
I am very glad was part of many eurovision juries. Mostly in national selection and since 2017 I was in MGP Norway, Eurovision Malta, UMK national selection Finland. Juror in Melodifestivalen 2016. Biggest national selection. Also helped Eurovision Ireland, Eurovision Estonia, Eurovision Azerbaijan and many others.
Just amazing to be part of this community, so check my Humans of Eurovision, check my Eurovision reaction videos.

you did great job with approaching a touchy subject in a respectful way. I think at first it wasn't only ideological but also utilitarian. it was like a way of getting an engaged diaspora that will care about the song and push it, and get media attention. and it had results, so more countries did this. this attracted specific type of fans that are watching for that reason, and expect that from the songs. it created a self-feeding loop that makes it more and more "extreme". the thing is, most watchers and casual fans (including lgbt fans) are not in this hard-core group and for us it is getting too much. if ESC "tones it down" they will alienate the hard-core fans. if they don't tone it down, they will alienate general audience. problem.

thank you! well, general audience is always the general audience and with HC there could be some way of dialog so all can cooperate for a better future achievements

The people who organize these events are too focused on pushing their agenda. They call the performances inclusive but it is having the complete opposite effect. I do not think any political messages belong in events meant for uniting the world/countries. If they want to keep a diverse audience they must stay away from causing further division and realize that most people in the world do not align with their political agenda. Focus instead on quality and make the experience better for everyone. Good video

For me it comes back to the same issue which us not being able to watch these television shows with kids. the producers of the shows decided that it's their role to educate, not the parents or teachers. And as for quality just imagining Leonardo's sublime work with the ugliness of whatever that was on the opening ....

after that also this is maybe subjective but thats also the reason why it dont belong to general shows like this. Because its polarising, its also controversial in not funny way, so people react on it for various reasons. Imo this is the thing, thats its criticizes across the sociaty, not just one or two groups for some fundamentalits reasons

I agree with you Jan. I didn't see the live 'performance' of mocking the Last Supper, but I've seen the screen shots and it was terrible. It does not help your 'cause' by putting on trashy performances.

Yes! I'm a polish eurovision fan, and I am rather left-leaning. I was appaled with how our former governemt (PIS) used the LGBT community as a scapegoat, using the same fearmongering tactics as Putin or Orban, to show how degenerate "the west" is. But, the more this movement is pushed everywhere (and ruining the things that were dear to my heart), the less sympathetic I am towards it. Though, as per the opinion of eurovision subreddit when I tried to argue that LGBT+ flags violate the supposed non-political nature of the contest, I'm from a backwards country, so I guess my opinion is invalid. So inclusive!

Yep, they were talking like Putin, also in Czechia we have such. Thats deprimating that LGBT extremists, as this cannot count for all the group at all, violating on what was so many fought for so long. Imo most people can make a resolution between this and thats why we call it propaganda or agenda, as this goes violantely. Sad. But imo LGBT flags meaning is that we are all equal, unless the other flags. As LGBT flag counts for everyone regardless. And we need to be firm to see it and name it. Those extremists are basically using the same rhetorics d Putin, and some of those groups were also found being payed indirectly from moscow, what a suprise.

Right on point. You are being precise and it is sad to proceed to such realizations. I want to point out 2 things: it's nice to discuss things but this means that both parts know how to make a sane discussion. Second, after your speech here, to me, it is apparent that you have felt discriminated for your sexuality (the meaning you wanted to convey about the 95% of people being men and so on implies openly that you entered that area which is of course never good. Things with stupid "gender arbitrary assuming" and "suitable pronouns" constitute silly first world problems and have gone to far into determining who's the offender and who's the offendee. I did watch the opening ceremony, I thought myself during the Dionysus singing, oh dear, behind there's a freak show going on but it never occured to me at the very moment that this was an allegory of the last supper or something like that. The French have by long lost their country, they're sinking into the quagmire and they're still braging about it. It's all becoming a madness for Europe anymore.
