Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

I foresaw a wet wake up, as soon as you started setting up your hammock in the washed up driftwood.

7:40 Fin is always droping sticks on the camp👏🏻👏🏻... Wish I could take my dog on a trip like this.. My dog is a dogo argentino.. really good for hunting small game.. Some times I wake up, open the door of my house and there he is, droping birds or opposums at my feet.. like its a present for me haha all this while waving his tail.. I like smart dogs like fin and mine, I cant think of a friend as loyal as my dog to be honest
I'm really enjoying this series and I'm not trying to criticize when I comment but more to possibly add some added knowledge from decades of experience of doing exactly what you guys are doing. I miss those days and would be still doing that but I'm not physically able to currently. So, please don't think I'm trying to be a smartass jerk. I respect that you show your mistakes because we all make them.
Set up camp first thing. Always check out your leader after a fish, especially a Ling. At the least you should run your fishing line between your lips to feel for any slightest roughness.

Please go to the Dr for a health check up we love you and you make me worried when you get winded like that hiking especially when your alone. Fin was worried too i can tell lol. Idk if you already have one but maybe look into getting one of those emergency kits that can sent your location to be safe.
