Hey Sam, do you prefer this, the Clover 'looky' 6 or the 5" truzoom magnifier?

    Two questions, if I may:
    1. Does Luna 6 support viewing IPS LCD screens with it? Because another brand's model, which I prefer not to mention by name unless necessary, in my testings failed on that task - when trying to view a phone or a laptop's IPS LCD screen, the magnified image was blurry and unreadable.
    2. What kind is the carrying case? Is it a hard or a soft one? Is it reliable enough to safely carry around the magnifier in it?
    Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi Sam, I have a question if you diagnosed with stardgardt at 11 years old how did you learn to drive and for how long did you drive? My son just turn 15 and he diagnosed with stardgardt a year ago he wants to learn to drive but he is scared b/c of the diseases so do you think he can get his driving license?

I’m going to answer this comment in my upcoming talk back with the blind life video. It should be out in a day or two.

Sam, you mentioned a few episodes back that you carry a magnifier in your pocket even when at home. What type of magnifier do you carry for daily stuff? I find even with the great apps available on my Pixel 6 Pro it is a bit cumbersom for quick tasks especially since it is hard to hold while doing something.

I use a 12 X pocket magnifier from Eschenbach. You can find it in my Amazon shop. Check out this month to talk back video for more information.

Hi! Love your channel, so glad I found you! I have Cone Dystrophy. The Luna 6 is cool, expensive!! I've never seen anything handheld like this. I'd like to know if it could be used in a situation where a monocular might be used; such as a ballet recital or kids soccer game? (How does it do outdoors?)

Heya Victoria it depends on the distance lighting Ect as the pixels make it harder to view the further away the object Ect you are viewing is it basically works the same as a digital camera when you zoom it far away the picture quality gets a lot poorer .There are also a lot cheaper ones out there that do the exact same thing just without the wireless charger for about 300 dollars shop around this one is way over priced

      Hey Victoria
I have CD too but I never used magnifiers as they usually need a well lit room and that unfortunately gives a very bad headache. My neuro doctor suggested that I may have migraine and that compounded by high photosensitive due to CD causes a very bad headache.
Was wondering if you have the same problem with light and headache.

As the other commentor said, it depends on the situation but probably wouldn’t be the best choice for that. Depending on how far away you’re trying to look, the image might degrade. If you’re wanting something for distance viewing at events like that, or outside, I would recommend a wearable like the iris vision.

There is absolutely no sound approximately two minutes after the start of your video.
