***** Too many videos to link you too. Just type in Gorillaz live. The entire Plastic Beach Tour was Mick on guitar & Paul on bass.....so many vids!!!!
rf w I know, great fun. Mick has always been this positive force within the Clash. Every interview he always has an up eat spin and "their dancing not fighting" attitude towards their fans. I love seeing Paul and Mick together.
"(London Calling) Double record, yeh?" "2 for the price of 1 it was." "We did the same thing, though we did 4 records and we put money in the record." "Have you got any left?"
I just think it's cool to see Paul and Mick standing next to each other with instruments so many years later. Other than that this is freaking hilarious and he obviously has a major respect for the Clash to do this
Junior B so it goes Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face! Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face! Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face! Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face! Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face! Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face! Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face!
I loved that! Big Clash fan, big fan of Paul Armisen, can't believe I've never seen this before! I will learning "Hey Policeman" on guitar tonight for sure.
When I was PR & Sales Manager of CBS Austria, I got to know The Clash personally. The band was on the verge of their worldwide breakthrough when they performed in front of around 400 "madmen" in the Porrhaus in Vienna. During the performance, drummer Topper Headon suddenly felt sick, and he just poked behind him without neglecting his instrument. 👍 Guitarist Mick Jones gave me his spacey sunglasses that I wore for many years!
Tim Heckerd that's ok, we forgive you. Fred talks all the time about the Clash. He's a special kind of comedian and also musician. Gotta know his humor
Thanks for posting. Anything with the Clash! Seeing Mick and Paul together with guitars in hands, OMG. Loving this. I bet they would have gone on a short tour at some time if Joe were still alive. Oh well. These little clips are priceless..!!!! Topper, let's get him involved next time.
That was great. Im glad Paul had a good sense of humor through that one. He is known as a quick tempered boy that loved to take care of irritating people. It was nice to see Mick and Paul laughing at something together..
OMG i haven't see them in years. If only Joe was still alive that would have been something. The greatest punk band ever together with The Sex Pistols. UNFORGETTABLE years...
I don't often comment on youtube videos, but when I do, it's a Hey Policeman my boot goes in your face song. I'm digging their closing song. Hey, policeman, my boot goes in your face. Hey, Policeman, my boot goes in your face. Massive earworm crawls on inside and nestles down
Terry Brome Fred is one if their biggest fans, he is a bit of an arse sometimes, but as far as the Clash go, he's respectful to them, they we're just having fun. Love Paul and Mick for doing this! Just to see them with guitars together.
That was not insulting just everybody having a laugh - if you cannot laugh at yourself; then what's the point! As you get older and the seriousness ebbs; then why not!
Operation Ivy were actually influenced by Ian Rubbish, although both groups influenced each other. Ian also had a song which said "All I know is I don't know nothing either".
Why he skipped the second The Clash album "Give'em enough rope"? How any serious interview with band members can pass without mention this great album? There is an old saying that 3rd album "makes or breaks" any true rock band, but The Clash with their third album "London Calling" had blown the minds of fans, music lovers and any objective 'failed musicians', so called "music critcs". Though, too bad they omitted a few words on second album..
It's 7;30 a.m. getting ready to go to work ring, ring...I'm still tearing up because I haven't laughed this hard in a while. It was great! Must have been a dream come true.
Rick Hagedorn Mick is a genius in his own right. He never really looked that great, but he's always been this positive force within the Clash. Loving this moment seeing Mick and Paul together! RIP Joe.
Just to see Paul and Mick standing together holding guitars made my day.
You should check out all the footage from The Gorillaz last tour.
Ok need a the link?

Paul, still the coolest guy in town.
On the inside, Fred is losing his mind being able to play a song with two of his idols. Nice to see a good sense of humor from Paul and Mick too.
Exactly and making them laugh out loud!
Greg Frattare yes yes yes! Paul and Mick are so cool to do this with Fred! He is the all time Clash fan!!! Lucky Fred.
Yeah you would have to have a good sense of humor for that. He sucked.
I don't care what anyone says. Fred Armisen is the greatest comedian Sat. Night Live has produced in the past 20 years.
What a great sport these two are for going along with Fred's mock interview.
good thing Mick and Paul got a good sense of humour
Mick's enjoying it. Paul looks like he's thinking maybe this wasn't such a good idea.
...cos "Ian" has not.
@@devilsforkdigital1490 Mick is a positive and bouncy character (most of the time)
@@secallen you do realize that's fred armisen
@@aaronmadrigal4626 Yes, not funny

Haha, brilliant. Loved the sing song at the end. Seeing Paul and Mick play together was wicked.
Can someone give me the lyrics to, "Hey police man, my boot goes in your face."
Junior B so it goes
Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face!
Heeeyy policeman, my boot goes in your face!

due to copyright I can't , sorry
Very funny, in a Rutles type way. Mick and Paul seem so nice, and Fred's character is spot on..
Oh my god that was funny. That song at the end was great. Mick, as usual, sounds great chiming in on the chorus.
I loved that! Big Clash fan, big fan of Paul Armisen, can't believe I've never seen this before! I will learning "Hey Policeman" on guitar tonight for sure.
I cant get over "L'The Clash"
😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was gonna like your comment but u got 69 likes, nice

It was a great time for music!
I know this is a big joke, but when Mick and Paul were singing backup, didn't that remind you of the past?
Took me a while to realise this was a joke, i feel so stupid.
That just means Fred did a good job. And you can see his respect for the Clash through it.
me to. I feel stupid af rigt now
It's like a Spinal Tap mini-doc for punk music. lol
Tim Heckerd that's ok, we forgive you. Fred talks all the time about the Clash. He's a special kind of comedian and also musician. Gotta know his humor
that was good that
and mick said, softly, ' thank you'

"That's what punk's all about innit?..Not planning nuffing"..lol
What a beautiful ode to The Clash. I bet Fred was in seventh heaven playing with Paul and Mick.
Absolutely brilliant Fred Armisen! Bravo!
That was great. Im glad Paul had a good sense of humor through that one. He is known as a quick tempered boy that loved to take care of irritating people. It was nice to see Mick and Paul laughing at something together..
I can't believe he got them to do that song. Epic!
The first record I ever bought was by Ian rubbish in one of his earlier bands called "The Clash pistols", f'in revolutionary sound!!
haven't seen this for long time & it's funny as hell Brilliant.
OMG i haven't see them in years. If only Joe was still alive that would have been something. The greatest punk band ever together with The Sex Pistols. UNFORGETTABLE years...

Nice song. Great lyrics. Very good documentary.
Damn, lookin all 6s and 7s m8!!! Love the Clash
It always makes me sad that Joe Strummer isn’t there
Armisens accent is absolutely spot on! Does a better cockney accent than me and I’m from England.
OMG could these two gentlemen be any cooler? :))
No, definitely not.
Best post ever!🏴
Fred's character seems like Mick Jagger trying to be a Punk rocker
Fred Armisen is a comedy genius and his accent is flawless!!!!!
So lovely

Love for Portlandia? Check. Favorite band is The Clash? Check. Thank you for this being reality.
Mick makes playing the guitar look so easy!!
Awfully good of the guys to go along with this mildly amusing skit.
Really Loved that 👌
I could not stop laughing and apparently niether could Mick lol
this guy is not funny
+vambo13257
why don't you go vambo yourself
This is amazing
he sounds like Nigel Tufnel
Gotta love it!!!
Funny thing is even though they were just larking around it still sounded alright
The lads are being good sports with this eedjit.
aahh c'mon he is funny as well as looking funny!
It's a spoof you eedjit. Ever heard of Spinal Tap? Eedjit.
You sound like a "Eedjit". Learn how to spell a bit before you insult a nice little joke that The Members AGREED to do.
Terry Brome Fred is one if their biggest fans, he is a bit of an arse sometimes, but as far as the Clash go, he's respectful to them, they we're just having fun. Love Paul and Mick for doing this! Just to see them with guitars together.
ironic you can't spell eejit...says it all
fred's accent is flawless!
This guy is hilarious! Good stuff.
Priceless !! ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
THE CLASH…UTTERLY BRILLIANT …..
Mick is pissing his pants off lol
I'd loved to have seen Topper drumming along too, that was funny though & the boys went along with it
Great host Ian Rubbish!! ;)
Just the hole🤣🤣 micks reaction was hilarious
The only band that matters and still with a sense of humor. Thanks TH-cam
Ah man, they're actually jamming. Fucking mint!
That was not insulting just everybody having a laugh - if you cannot laugh at yourself; then what's the point! As you get older and the seriousness ebbs; then why not!
Love it
Sounds like Knowledge by Operation Ivy lol
Operation Ivy were actually influenced by Ian Rubbish, although both groups influenced each other. Ian also had a song which said "All I know is I don't know nothing either".
@ 0:18 what guitar is over Ian's right shoulder in the background?
Looks like some Ibanez Artcore model
Wasn't the song "Hey Policeman" dedicated to the police of Dumont,New Jersey after Mick and Paul had the misfortune of driving through that town?

Fred reminds me a bit of Jimmy Pursey, Sham 69
I know, I know, but Mick Jones made me shocked...
Fred you are a trip!

Together in Hendrix's studio
Anyone know the song at 3:20 ? When he shows the Sandinista album?
Charlie don't surf
Dis is fockin hilarious.lighten up boys
Actually, not a bad song at the end, heard loud & clear from the beginning.
Mick and Paul were good sports. But Ian? The man is a menace.
Still can’t get used to Mick being bald
This is alright! Mick looks like Redington
you know not bad
I can't see "Hey Policeman" in any way being way dignified to Jimi Hendrix' memory (his studio in this case)
This is really funny & his toy at an English accent 🤣 sounds like mick jagger
age why?!?!?!?!??!
Funny & the song at the end weren't bad either!
Mick seems to be a top bloke
Classic...
Not planning nothing is a double negative 😊
Acapulco LOL
Mick says faster! Love micks voice

haha - Class
Have you ever met a phoney? First thing out of his mouth " Your a phoney ".
Nobody else has asked this so: where the fuck is Topper Headon?????
He's like a punk version of the Amadeus character.
I lost my shit at “White Riot As Well”
Mick has not exactly aged well to say the least. He's only 61 but looks like he's in his 70s.
Rick Hagedorn Mick is a genius in his own right. He never really looked that great, but he's always been this positive force within the Clash. Loving this moment seeing Mick and Paul together! RIP Joe.
"I can't stand Fred Armisen."-🤨📻..
