Not all NY is crowded like Times Square. You have to remember that TS is mostly tourists. If you go to the upper west side or east side it's a completely different vibe. New Yorkers avoid TS as much as possible. Glad you enjoyed it.
That blueberry tart you ate looked amazing! It was frangipane in the middle, which is just a french word for an almond-flavored cream or custard. Yum! 😋
FYI you can freeze the beef patty’s individually so they don’t go bad and just thaw them out on a plate. They will last you a few months in the freezer if need be
Nomie...This Jersey accent ~> 00:44 is SPOT ON! LOL! You nailed it and this is coming from a New York City kid. Upstate NY is another place you need to see as well and Jersey has beautiful farmland when driving south. Glad you are enjoying yourself!
Hahahahaha I love the Jersey accent! Back in 1997, my sister and I walked all the way up into the Statue of Liberty's crown. I took photos of the book in her arm from that perspective. It said "July 4, 1776". It was an amazing experience. When you're nearly twenty stories high inside of her, you can feel her tottering from side to side. It was WILD. Highly recommend visiting her. She's about 20 something stories high, and when you get to Liberry Island you can see she's actually walking, not standing
I walked up to the top when I was about 13. I am now 68, and while it was an experience, they packed the people in and you had to keep climbing those stairs, no stopping😊
@Carol Huser yes! The spiral stairs were packed and kind of scary, lol, but all the visitors felt a bit like comraderie and a once in a lifetime shared experience. I was much younger when I did it. I don't think I can do that now 😆
Ok, I aging myself, but when I was little, I went to the statue of Liberty when the had the torch opened...THAT was scary..but exciting at the same time
You should take the ferry to Liberty Island. Born and raised in Jersey and I've only been on the island twice (because I have megalophobia) but it was something I needed to experience. The memorial was on the opposite side of the building you past on your left...where people can park etc. There are column walls that have everyone's name from NJ that were lost in the tragedy. I love your videos!! Happy traveling!
I have meglalophobia too...I used to have to turn away whenever the Statue of Liberty was on screen, especially in movies like the original Planet of the Apes but I've gotten better.
Magalaphobia is no joke. When I was a child, I didn't know what it was, I just knew the water tower in our neighborhood and large bridges TERRIFIED me. It's gotten slightly better, but I still get really uncomfortable looking up at large buildings/monuments/statues, and I close my eyes if I have to pass under/over an expansive bridge.
Enjoyed coming along with you and thank you for sharing this wonderful experience. My risk taking hero, I admire your complete comfort in being alone and enjoying every minute of it. Peace is priceless.
Another awesome vlog. Don’t let Jersey City fool you. As nice is it is there, there are so many different parts of NJ like the ocean, the bay, farmland, lighthouses, the Historic Victorian houses of Cape May, The Skylands,,and much more. You should come back one day check it out again,
Good afternoon everybody!! Have a Marvelous Monday!! I’m so happy to be a part of your last day at the RV Park. Lots of things to look forward to seeing with you.. even your walks🙂 Enjoy ..
Have a Marvelous Monday too! Happy Valentine's Day y'all. Something I remind myself is the most important person to love is yourself. Then you're never alone. Be Blessed
Hi I m enjoying your videos . I just love you you are such a mannerable , respectful young lady. I pray before I pass I can see mountains ....I been stuck in my home for yrs ... I'm a loner but my passion was to travel but I didn't get that chance ..... So I take this journey with you. and pray one day it will be me.
I made a comment while you were live yesterday and mentioned how my husband and I love your videos. When I said "we aren't into van life," I meant we don't live that lifestyle, but we really enjoy watching those who are. I hope it didn't come off the wrong way. ❤️ I'm so excited to see your adventures as you relocate!
@Nomadic Introvert 🫣I can't believe I missed your "live" session🤦🏾♀️ I've set up notifications from you from the first video and it didn't come through. Safe travels, my dear. We're traveling with you. Always remember that YOU are loved and valued!! 🙏🏾💗☺️
I’m glad you enjoyed your stay in Jersey and had a chance to visit NY. We were happy to have you and glad you enjoyed your visit. Next time get on the Staten Island Ferry ( it’s free) and you do get a closer look at the Statue of Liberty. Well safe travels and God Bless.
Downtown jersey city is the art district and tons of wall murals everywhere. When you passed 2 Boots Pizza and Left Bank Burgers I was like stopp, you would’ve loved either. The bakery you went to is French and definitely a great choice, best goodies! Also Liberty State Park is very nice when the cherry blossoms come out in the spring. And there’s are boats that cruise around Manhattan and go right up to the Statue of Liberty for next time. Glad you enjoyed! :)
Next time ur in NYC, go down to the tip of manhattan and take the ferry out to the Statue of Liberty! The views of Manhattan from the water are breathtaking, as is the statue itself! Go take the elevator up to the observation deck of the Empire State Building for the views of a lifetime! Also, go up and see Central Park and all the fabulous old apt building around the park (I.e. the Dakota where John & Yoko lived...the architecture is amazing!) And, this is an insider tip.....go to Juniors for cheesecake! Easily "the" most amazing thing youve ever tasted!!! World famous cheesecake! And for gosh sake, go take a walk around Greenwich Villiage before you leave!
My mom was born in London and was around 6 when she came to America. She told me, over and over, about her first view of the Statue of Liberty. It was a life changing moment for her.. that she never let my brother and I forget. 🗽 🚢 ⚓️
Do you ever feel lonely? I would... I would want to share live experiences with a live person. No disrespect, just my thoughts. Love your vlog, God bless you!❤️
I am getting pumped about all of the adventures to come! You still have that military stride to your walk...I was like ”sis slow down" walking to the state park. LoL...like I couldn't keep up 🤣
I live in NJ but have not been to Jersey City. It looks like a great city and I'm so glad I got a chance to see the sights with you. Safe travels on your journey south.
Between this Vlog and the last one you have passed my 2nd house, my school, my walking path where I go to clear my mind, AND taken the same train that I take at the same train station! I agree NYC is not for the faint of heart lol it’s a lot. As an introvert and New Yorker I only go to the city occasionally, you won’t catch me out there just walking around, it’s way too much for me.
Another great video, I really enjoyed seeing both New Jersey and New York, I am from th UK and have never been to America, so it is lovely to see it through you, Thank you Nomi x
Really beautiful city. The architecture is lovely..one of the things that struck me most is how CLEAN the streets are.. I live in Australia and we often hear about the rubbish/ vermin problems in NY and NJ.. Could not see any evidence of that in your video and I find that really impressive. Both cities are vibrant and the bakeries and cafes etc look SO enticing with the most incredible array of food. Thanks for the snapshot tours of two interesting cities.
Love these views! So amazing! Thank you for taking the time to share them with us. I get so excited when you release a new video. Stay safe and God Bless!
If you walk further in the park, you get a much closer view of the Statue of Liberty across the water, and when I went, there were a few vendors. Thanks for your views of the areas that I would like to visit as well
Never knew about an RV park so close to the city! I sent them an email inquiry about rates and credited YOU for the info. Hope it helps you negotiate prices & deals don't forget to ask! Very well done city visit, you captured the experience nicely While in NJ you should drive through the Pine Barrens it's a little piece of different
I do have to tell you though, Manhattan was pretty empty! During the Holidays, any holiday or if there's a game at the Garden!! Triple the crowds! Come to Long Island some time, Jones Beach, Robert Moses, Long Beach, Sunken Meadow! All very Beautiful! Safe travels, thanks for taking us along!
I have been watching all ur videos. I actually am thankful I found u and have enjoyed all your new live styles. Thank you for the walks I really enjoy them. I walk around our parks to and make videos it's just so amazing to see the statue of liberty and hiw u u sit and take it all in. This is what life is about. Ever since I have been diagnosed with a brain tumor I have reevaluated what really matters. All the stuff in my house does not mean anything..u traveling i look forward to where we are going next. Since I can not drive I watch your videos for escape. Thank you so much for showing .me different way to life. And I heard u said u where scared to try need foods. Never be scared. That's what life is about.. Have amazing day. I cannot wait to see what's next. I am from Mississipp i moved here from Gu. Beeen to hawaii and Bermuda and several other places. One thing I lo e also is the art u fi d l different kinds. I love to paint Yes I see the white Lamborghini just really enjoyed this. I am eating some tofu now here have a bite I do t want to be rude. Ty for blessing me as I am able to watch your journey. My name is Jennifer NICE to meet u
For me, not much compares to being in nature, near (or in) water and just being and breathing. Thank you for giving us a small glimpse into your day. ❤🙏🏻
You must have lots on your mind. You forgot to give the 1st bite especially for the kid who waits for it. Lol I enjoyed your live you did the other day. I also really enjoyed the NY and NJ videos. I paused the video when there was a nice view and pretended I was there.
I really enjoyed the live the other day! It was great to see you in real time. Thanks for another great video! you are such a tranquil person and really engaging to us introverts. From one Leo to another, YOU ROCK!!
You would do so well with a dog in Florida there’s so many rescue places to get beautiful dogs and give them a second chance in life that would be a bond between you and a dog would be unbelievable. Really give it a good thought
Thanks for taking us along, I really enjoyed it. I also have a great appreciation for architecture. Ever since I was a kid I admired older homes and buildings. The blueberry desert looked so tasty, what a tease. Safe travels to you, until next time . ❤
Beautiful Views🤩 But be careful where your walking! There's not Alot of people around, saculeded! Never know about people in big cities in these Areas!🙌🙏😲🇺🇸💟
☺️I am soooo happy you visited my hometown of NYC ( born in "Da Bronx"). I now live in Passaic, NJ (home of the Shirelles, Joey Dee, Loretta Swit, Zoe Saldana, etc.) When you left the 911 Memorial, I was saying out loud..."go a few blocks and get on the Staten Island Ferry (free) to see the Statue of Liberty up close". I love Jersey City as well. I graduated from the St. Peter's University campus in JC. I hope you get to visit NJ & NYC in the spring or early fall. You love beaches, so if you come back to Jersey in the summer, PLEASE check out our Jersey Shore. You'll love it! Safe travels to Florida. You've got us with you, my dear. Always remember that YOU are loved and valued. 🙏🏾💗
Thank you so much for taking us along with you. I feel like I've been on vacation with you lol. I thought Jersey City would be crowded like New York. It was a very beautiful place. 💖
It was a good decision to stop and get that unique piece of pastry and then just cook your own lunch later. It is doubtful you would have found any lunch in Jersey City that could have topped that amazing looking lasagna pizza that you had in New York, anyway. By the way, your New Jersey accent was hilarious. Well done! You have a talent for accents.
Thank you so much for this trip 😆! The skyline from the park in New Jersey is incredible! So glad you had a good time. We had a good time watching. Get home safe.
You are such a very blessed soul to have lived your life in such a way to make it to this place of solace and liberty living your best life on your own script thank you for sharing the journey it is very very I inspiring
If you're going to be doing some serious hiking, you might invest in the proper footwear. Also, for walking cities all day, make sure your shoes have good support and such. Your feet are your friends and alternate transportation. Make sure you take care of them!
Jersey city put me in the mind of san Francisco but slower pace. If you ever come to Southern California Long Beach and San Diego, have some nice rv spots.
Thank you for sharing your NY/NJ experience. Next time you do go to NY(if you do) go to Times Square at night and get the real full experience. It's a whole different feeling! Blessings!
Ahh yes, walking is the mode of transport lol! Ages ago, my partner would cycle around that park. My heart feels warm watching your adventure through my old stomping grounds 💕
Hey Nomadic when I went to New York I visited the Statue of Liberty I went only 180 steps which was at her pedestal but it was so magical I cried my girlfriend laughed at me I didn't care it was a experience I will cherish for the rest of my life be blessed my dear ❤️
my first plane trip was to New York and I visited the Statue of Liberty and we me and a friend walked up the stairs almost to the top but at the time the top was closed but man you could see all around from the top of there its awesome. walked all around New York love it
I'm glad you visited my hometown NYC I lived there for 41 years and it can be very intimidating to visitors and tourists but you did good you blended in well.🤗
As a child I got to go inside the Statue of Liberty when our school choir took a trip to sing in front of her. It was a wonderful experience that I treasure. I'm glad you got to see her and that your enjoying your trip. Much love and prayers ❤️
Thank you for sharing your New York City and Jersey City trip with us, Nomi! New York is on my bucket list but who knows when I'll be able to make that trip happen. So I enjoyed watching your videos and seeing the city from your perspective. Be safe out there! **Watching from San Diego, CA 😊**
Great video! So glad you had fun on your trip. I was a lil nervous when you were in that park tho, it looked as if you were by yourself. (I live in a city so I'm always on guard LOL) But it was beautiful! 😁😁😁
Have a blessed day. So enjoy your videos, watching from the frozen tundra of Northern Wyoming. Worked this desk job for 38 years, looking forward to retirement and hitting my "bucket list" hard!
Why cruise when you can walk .. actually you can see WAY more of the city from the boat. San Diego and any city on the water is the same. It is a reasonable way to see the most in a day… especially if your time is limited. Also those heritage trolley tours where you can hop on and off are really nice. You still walk everywhere .. but you are walking in the areas you wanted to see instead of wandering around random streets and exhausting yourself. I think they are the best way to see the most in the shortest amount of time. You are exposed to the most options and you can revisit your favorites❤😊
Wow how many miles did you walk. The views are breathtaking . Informative about where ships dock at. Bike trails, and monuments thanks for taking us along, you rock for a travel guide😇 🗽🐐
That Jersey accent was priceless!! 😂😂😂
She really nailed it! 😂
Im from jersey! She sure did❤
😂😂
Lolololololololol 😂
She’s a natural!
I think it's great that you parked in NJ and visited the two cities. That saved you at least $1200 in hotel rooms for the 3 days
Easily $1200 or more
I admire how you are so grateful and how you always stop to appreciate the moments, especially in nature.
Not all NY is crowded like Times Square. You have to remember that TS is mostly tourists. If you go to the upper west side or east side it's a completely different vibe. New Yorkers avoid TS as much as possible. Glad you enjoyed it.

I was looking for this comment thanks
Hi Allison, is this easy to make? Do you know if the bottom is a graham cracker crust? I wld not mind trying to make it.
Thks Mikki
Thanks 🙏🏾
Born and raised in NJ!!!
I know Liberty Park like the back of my hand. I wish you had a chance to visit the 🗽 Science Center.
FYI you can freeze the beef patty’s individually so they don’t go bad and just thaw them out on a plate. They will last you a few months in the freezer if need be

Can you still access the crown and flame? I seem to remember walking up a million stairs.
I have meglalophobia too...I used to have to turn away whenever the Statue of Liberty was on screen, especially in movies like the original Planet of the Apes but I've gotten better.
@@edorsherylcorey5743 Crown; yes. Flame; no. :)

Now that you've seen New York City, you might want to visit New York State. Two totally different animals. The park was beautiful, and what a view.
Yup it is I’m from Albany and it’s a big difference
Good afternoon everybody!! Have a Marvelous Monday!! I’m so happy to be a part of your last day at the RV Park. Lots of things to look forward to seeing with you.. even your walks🙂

My home town. Dirty Jersey. Jersey City 😊. I’m so glad you had a good time. Thanks for sharing 😊
You had the most beautiful day and the Manhattan skyline was stunning. Such fun adventures! 👍👏
I had to totally pause the video to comment on the Jersey accent🤣🤣🤣🤣 That was EVERYTHING!!!❤❤
I was like, you go girl. It was perfect.
Nice try but I'm sorry, it was not a Jersey accent. .. from a native NJ.

Oh no she didn't, not give us the first bite ... no bites for us LOL!!!
Great touring, so happy for you and you passed by my place downtown JC.
😂😂😂
I was raised in Jersey City, NJ . So nice seeing my old stomping grounds! Thank you!

I live in NJ but have not been to Jersey City. It looks like a great city and I'm so glad I got a chance to see the sights with you. Safe travels on your journey south.
WOW! Have you ever been to ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY? My Dad is buried there. It's something to see. And all the museums.
My hubby of 53 year is interred at Arlington. Don't know if I will ever get back there again.😪
Your walking endurance is amazing, sis. I am duly inspired, and grateful for you bringing us along, including your thought processes.
I can hardly wait for more of your travels. These last 4 days have me hooked for more. Scenery, food, people I can't wait Nomi. Be safe hon.
You see dark and gloomy now. But, is beautiful in the spring time. When is all green... Is very peaceful.
My self sufficient Boo, livin her best life! God bless you & keep you. Your journey excites me, you're an amazing Gal. ⭕❌⭕❌ Happy Valentine's 💕

Happy Monday Everyone! Thanks for sharing Nomi❤
Your Jersey accent was on point lmao 🤣 you have so many facets to your personality. I truly appreciate you 😊
If you're planning on going to Californis, forget LA. Go to Sequoia National Park and Yosemite. Redwood trees. My favorite place ever.
You must have lots on your mind. You forgot to give the 1st bite especially for the kid who waits for it. Lol I enjoyed your live you did the other day. I also really enjoyed the NY and NJ videos. I paused the video when there was a nice view and pretended I was there.

You planned out this trip perfectly! Definitely on my list 👌🏾
Can you imagine sitting on that park bench and watching the sun set🌅🌇….enjoyed going along with you on your trip🌻♥️
Try getting Calrose rice & use small rice cooker so good..
God bless 🙌🙏
Thanks for taking us along, I really enjoyed it. I also have a great appreciation for architecture. Ever since I was a kid I admired older homes and buildings. The blueberry desert looked so tasty, what a tease. Safe travels to you, until next time . ❤
Your New York videos have been my favorites so far! I can't wait to see what is ahead for you! Enjoy, and stay safe.
Good afternoon. Enjoy your day peace and blessings always 🥰
Beautiful Views🤩 But be careful where your walking! There's not Alot of people around, saculeded! Never know about people in big cities in these Areas!🙌🙏😲🇺🇸💟

You must come back to Jersey in the summer!! Visit Cape May it's beautiful!!
Thank you so much for taking us along with you. I feel like I've been on vacation with you lol. I thought Jersey City would be crowded like New York. It was a very beautiful place. 💖
Ha ha loved the accent! Beautiful view! Thanks for taking me a long. Sending you Blessings, love, stay close to Jesus ❤

By the way, your New Jersey accent was hilarious. Well done! You have a talent for accents.
Thank you for taking us all along with you! 💛
Thank you so much for this trip 😆! The skyline from the park in New Jersey is incredible! So glad you had a good time. We had a good time watching. Get home safe.
I so enjoyed this. You are really getting me excited about your future travels.
This is an excellent comment to definitely remember, very helpful.
That Jersey accent was “spot on”!
Blessings!
I died laughing. The attempt at the accent! 🤣🤣 I think I'd like to see you try my Boston accent next. 🙌🏽😉
Ahh yes, walking is the mode of transport lol! Ages ago, my partner would cycle around that park. My heart feels warm watching your adventure through my old stomping grounds 💕
Blessings Sis! Welcome to Jersey City and Liberty state Park. I’m going to that bakery to try that dessert lol. Thanks for sharing.❤
Hey Nomadic when I went to New York I visited the Statue of Liberty I went only 180 steps which was at her pedestal but it was so magical I cried my girlfriend laughed at me I didn't care it was a experience I will cherish for the rest of my life be blessed my dear ❤️
Good afternoon… thanks for sharing have blessed day Nomi💙and everyone!!
I enjoyed every minute of your visit to Jersey City and NYC. Lots and lots of walking. I think my calves may be hurting, and I was just sitting here!
my first plane trip was to New York and I visited the Statue of Liberty and we me and a friend walked up the stairs almost to the top but at the time the top was closed but man you could see all around from the top of there its awesome. walked all around New York love it
I've always thought you have a voice for voice overs and it's confirmed when you did the Jersey accent.😃 Much love.❤️
I said the same thing, it was perfect.
I LOL when she did it. She did it perfectly.
Loved this adventure n so happy you had a great time stay safe n BLESSED BE
I'm glad you visited my hometown NYC I lived there for 41 years and it can be very intimidating to visitors and tourists but you did good you blended in well.🤗
Me too..now in Virginia and miss home...but not enough to move back....
As a child I got to go inside the Statue of Liberty when our school choir took a trip to sing in front of her. It was a wonderful experience that I treasure. I'm glad you got to see her and that your enjoying your trip. Much love and prayers ❤️
Another excursion enjoyed! Thanks again for allowing us along! Next episode please! Be safe, take care💜
Even the concrete jungle has it's own version of beautiful. Hope you had fun time.
San Diego is on my bucket list too. I want to visit so bad. Love from CHICAGO
I hope you had fun my TH-cam friend! So glad to see you out and enjoying life!🤗💕💕Stay safe and blessed!🙏
Omgosh the Jersey accent when your telling us what the older lady told you was on point! Love it!
You could get a dog but they’re a lot of effort with care exercise and the extra cleaning plus if separation anxiety they could destroy your van😊
So glad you enjoyed your Jersey City visit. That blueberry cake? looked fabulous. Enjoy watching your adventures.
Looks like you’re enjoying yourself good for you!👍😊
I've watched this more than once I love your videos.
You should get a nice magnet for your fridge of all the lovely places you go. They don't take up alot of room and they look nice on the fridge
Have a safe drive back to Michigan ; Thank you for taking us along with you on your journey
