This AU reminds me of the hanahaki disease, in which you throw up petals of a certain flower that corresponds to your emotions towards a certain beloved person. The feelings must be very strong to have it. Friendly love is not enough to have hanahaki disease. But in Frisk’s case, she has flowers growing everywhere whenever she resets (correct me if I’m wrong). This Undertale AU was the first one which brought tears to my eyes, since it’s so beautiful.

The flowers began with showing up where the death blow was but they were killed to many times. Not in the throat choking them. They do basically drain her body of any ability to move, and see though

It's like that Hanakai disease thing. One-sided love that ends up you coughing up blood and flowers until one day it will fill up your lungs and you choke to death and die. If you remove them you end up removing the love you have for that person permanently.
Even after years, this song is still so good. I regret misunderstanding this AU because of my ships back then, I was young and dumb. I now appreciate this story for what it truly shows, friendship and care.

"Come with me, and you'll be, the seventh maid in a row" He actually means that Frisk will be the seventh collected soul, and in the end he says: "Don't leave, please don't be the seventh maid in a row". He means that he doesn't want her to die anymore, because he loves her too much to just take her soul. Even that in the end he doesn't take her soul, he just burry it with her at her funeral, or else the barrier would be already broken. This music is so beautyfull, it makes me remember of my brother... He had a pretty bad illness, and when he was about to die, that's what I said... "Don't leave me, please don't leave me behind in this world". He laughed and whispered "You're strong, I know you will take care of then". In the familly It was only him, me, and our other two little brothers. It's basically the contrary... He was Frisk and I was Sans...... Don't know anything about the au but the first time I listened to this song I was at a really low point in my life, and the line "sometimes kindness is enough" hits different now because not long later I met the man am going to propose to soon. He showed me that sometimes kindness IS enough, by saving my life with it. Over and over. Now I'm here, almost 4 years later, in our home, somehow happy, planning how I will propose, and this song popped up in my recommended again tonight.

Pickled Pringles I think it started as sort of a joke between them. Sans asking about the flowers and saying they'll die and be the seventh soul, and Frisk replying with a laugh that they already died. Each time they die, they wake up with a new flower. Eventually, they'll have so many that it'll kill them. That's what he's referring to when he begs them not to reset. Frisk replies that sometimes showing them kindness is enough, and that they won't die. At some point, Frisk realizes the flowers are killing them, and when they die the next time, they tell Sans to break the barrier. He begs them not to go, but as they said, "This flower's already dead." It hurts more if you read some comics that go with it. Flowey's talking to Frisk's grave, begging them to just reset, due to it's effect on Sans. "Angel, come back. Your Red Death is waiting for you!" "I fear he won't last much longer." "Angel, please come back! Your Red Death isn't DETERMINED."
I was very skeptical of Flowerfell at first, this song was really all I knew about it and I had never cared before to listen to the whole thing. To me, the whole thing just seemed like an excuse to ship Frisk and Sans, and yes I know that can and does happen with any AU. I was into Undertale for a while, but never got into the shipping area of it. However, this song got stuck in my head yesterday and I didn't know the words, so I figured I'd give it a listen. This might be as far as I'll go into the AU, but I can say that I'm happy in the shallow end of the Flowerfell pool. This is a beautiful song, the small amount of research I've taken into this AU has shown me an interesting concept, and the song actually makes me think of two characters from a story of my own. (Not Undertale related, I'm afraid, and only one of the two characters is actually mine, the other from someone I met online who gave me permission to make the character a canon part of the story.) So I can say that I'm glad I listened to this song, I think it got the earworm out of me, but I can't see myself exploring any further into Flowerfell, no disrespect intended to Sanei or any of Flowerfell's contributors.
I hope you do because I just back into flowerfell and yes it probably is a excuse to ship Sans and Frisk but the story makes you love this community that Toby Fox made for us.
It's oki X3 To me, the AU is a lot more than just shipping Sans and Frisk. The creators even said that their relationship was up to interpretation. But I understand where you're coming from, and I'm glad that you put even a bit of effort into researching the story X3
I actually don't know if this is a coincidence or not but there's a book that I have called "The secret garden". The main character is someone named Mary Lennox. There's a specific phrase that says "Mistress Mary Quite Contrary, how does your garden grow?". I just thought this was a coincidence, but still.

a while ago, I was really suicidal and this guy on a group chat reached out to me and messages me every once in a while to make sure I’m still okay. He sent me a bunch of stuff from the city he lived in, including a SIGNED CD and keychain from EmpathP PERSONALLY 🥺💜 I was moved to tears honestly, I was so happy. They're probably referring to the idea that Mary in the poem is Queen Mary I, aka Bloody Mary who executed Protestants in an effort to make England Catholic again. The maids mentioned in the song could referance the people killed, or specifically a guilliotine like instrument used to execute them that had been nicknamed 'a maiden.'

After listening to this song and now finding the origin of it. I just wanna say that this song's lyrics and the story is amazing in itself but it also got me thinking about scenarios like; When you see someone's suffering from a disease, disorder, or really anything that makes them helpless or having their life taken sooner, I wonder how long will you help, how long will you stay by their side, how long will you make them smile, how long will you hold your tears for their sake of not seeing you worry, sad or making themselves feel a burden to you? Seeing them be happy and strong even though they have limited time left to live, fighting every day till their very last breath, will you stay with them, hold their hand reassuring them that you won't leave their side. Inside we ask, "Why are they happy?", How can they still smile with all the suffering that they are having?", and many more. Either it's from the person we know face to face or they are on the internet or either we see them battle their disease or not. There's one thing that's clear for me, this song made me appreciate life and the life of others. Even though it's sad to see them go so soon, or they fought it up until they get old either way, we should at least make their lives happy and worth it, give them fun, happy and memorable memories that they will never forget and will cherish forever. When people say life is short, some may agree some may not but here's my opinion, yes, we can live a long life but for me the meaning of Life is short is that anything can happen to us or to anyone around us, die from an accident, disease, sudden death, etc. from any point of time, either from a young age or die not being born yet. There are many more but that will be it for now. This AU reminds me of the hanahaki disease, in which you throw up petals of a certain flower that corresponds to your emotions towards a certain beloved person. The feelings must be very strong to have it. Friendly love is not enough to have hanahaki disease. But in Frisk’s case, she has flowers growing everywhere whenever she resets (correct me if I’m wrong).
This Undertale AU was the first one which brought tears to my eyes, since it’s so beautiful.

The flowers show up when Frisk dies. They are not triggered by a relationship. The flowers began with showing up where the death blow was but they were killed to many times. Not in the throat choking them.

I think it started as sort of a joke between them. Sans asking about the flowers and saying they'll die and be the seventh soul, and Frisk replying with a laugh that they already died.
Each time they die, they wake up with a new flower. Eventually, they'll have so many that it'll kill them. That's what he's referring to when he begs them not to reset. Frisk replies that sometimes showing them kindness is enough, and that they won't die.
At some point, Frisk realizes the flowers are killing them, and when they die the next time, they tell Sans to break the barrier. He begs them not to go, but as they said,
"This flower's already dead."
It hurts more if you read some comics that go with it. Flowey's talking to Frisk's grave, begging them to just reset, due to it's effect on Sans.
"Angel, come back. Your Red Death is waiting for you!"

I was very skeptical of Flowerfell at first, this song was really all I knew about it and I had never cared before to listen to the whole thing. To me, the whole thing just seemed like an excuse to ship Frisk and Sans, and yes I know that can and does happen with any AU. I was into Undertale for a while, but never got into the shipping area of it. However, this song got stuck in my head yesterday and I didn't know the words, so I figured I'd give it a listen. This might be as far as I'll go into the AU, but I can say that I'm happy in the shallow end of the Flowerfell pool. This is a beautiful song, the small amount of research I've taken into this AU has shown me an interesting concept, and the song actually makes me think of two characters from a story of my own. (Not Undertale related, I'm afraid, and only one of the two characters is actually mine, the other from someone I met online who gave me permission to make the character a canon part of the story.)
So I can say that I'm glad I listened to this song, I think it got the earworm out of me, but I can't see myself exploring any further into Flowerfell, no disrespect intended to Sanei or any of Flowerfell's contributors.
I hope you do because I just back into flowerfell and yes it probably is a excuse to ship Sans and Frisk but the story makes you love this community that Toby Fox made for us.

After listening to this song and now finding the origin of it.
I just wanna say that this song's lyrics and the story is amazing in itself but it also got me thinking about scenarios like; When you see someone's suffering from a disease, disorder, or really anything that makes them helpless or having their life taken sooner, I wonder how long will you help, how long will you stay by their side, how long will you make them smile, how long will you hold your tears for their sake of not seeing you worry, sad or making themselves feel a burden to you? Seeing them be happy and strong even though they have limited time left to live, fighting every day till their very last breath, will you stay with them, hold their hand reassuring them that you won't leave their side. Inside we ask, "Why are they happy?", How can they still smile with all the suffering that they are having?", and many more. Either it's from the person we know face to face or they are on the internet or either we see them battle their disease or not. There's one thing that's clear for me, this song made me appreciate life and the life of others. Even though it's sad to see them go so soon, or they fought it up until they get old either way, we should at least make their lives happy and worth it, give them fun, happy and memorable memories that they will never forget and will cherish forever. When people say life is short, some may agree some may not but here's my opinion, yes, we can live a long life but for me the meaning of Life is short is that anything can happen to us or to anyone around us, die from an accident, disease, sudden death, etc. from any point of time, either from a young age or die not being born yet. There are many more but that will be it for now. If you read this far, thank you for your time, I'm just gonna say, Do what makes you happy and live just as long as you don't hurt other people but that's not for me to decide.
