- So here we are, another lockdown workflow video, this time brewing up a V60 pour over coffee. Grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee, sitback and relax while watching.
Recipe:
12.5g coffee, 200g water just below boiling point - ground coffee at setting 225 on the 1Zpresso Jmax
30g bloom for 30 sec
Pour until 200g total brewing water withing the minute mark
Gentle stir around the edges to keep the coffee from sticking to the paper
Half way through the drawdown give the cone a swirl to end up with a flat coffee bed
Total brewing time of around 2:30 min

I like that there is no music or voiceover on this…silence is golden 👍

Nice video, are you sure that much agitation is great? in the end the brew kinda clogged out not? Especially when you go for making a spiral in the coffee bed in the start the fines are hitting the filter everywhere i imagine. But besides that pretty cool stuff!
I've had the best results with heavy agitation like that, although in this particular case the brew did clog a bit. Kenyan coffees for some reason tend to clog more than others, so that also might be a factor 😁
What's your bean weight and brew ratio?
